Didn’t realize how fortunate we were to get a reservation on a holiday weekend. Food was outstanding, drinks were amazing and Aliah provided great service. I’m not the type to let a server sell me on the specials but when you realize how great of a culinary destination this is, the specials are truly “special”. It’s refreshing to know that places like this exist where you least expect to find them. Bravo Thompson House Eatery and we will make the 5 hour journey again...
The food is very average.....Way over priced for the quality of dining......I don't mind paying for good food is average at best......You want grated cheese on your pasta....$2 dollars....You want three pieces of bread.....$6...there is a 3.5% fee for credit card use.....Dinner was 250 dollars with an inexpensive bottle of wine.....The food is just not that good service was good and atmosphere is also good....Thompson house is the only fine dining restaurant within 30 minutes...
This was the perfect spot for our special honeymoon dinner. The service and staff were wonderful. The food and atmosphere amazing. Great cocktail selection, and the soup was to die for. The love and care put into every dish is evident. It was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back!
