Updated review: Had an excellent experience here this morning with my wife and son. The owner was super friendly and the food was great. Will absolutely recommend this place to my friends and family and will certainly be back soon.

Don’t eat here! If we had visited the bathroom first we would have walked out totally disgusting!!! Makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like. Waitress was nice. Side of ham was over cooked so she took it off our bill. Food was overpriced and just average. It’s not a 4.3 star place.

We visited this diner with a party of four recently for Sunday breakfast. We were seated immediately. The waitress was very prompt, cordial, and took our order. She always kept our coffee cups filled. The food was fresh, cooked to order, and reasonable portions. Prices were standard for breakfast items. We highly recommend this diner for breakfast. Free and plentiful parking.

Smaller side portions. It was breakfast... Breakfast is simple, one has to want to make it bad in order for it to happen.

We just went this weekend while camping at a local State Park. The service was quick and friendly and we met the chef. The place was clean and tidy. The cheese on the cheese omelette was a little too gooey and the coffee was kind of weak but overall we really enjoyed our meals and went twice. The cinnamon roll and pumpkin muffins were to die for!!If you're looking for good comfort diner food I recommend it! We don't live too far and when we're in the area again we'll definitely be back.

We are in from Colorado for a wedding and we met the owner of the cafe at The Monadnock Inn as we were checking in. Went in on a Friday night for some dinner with my partner and Grandparents. Service was attentive and very kind. Food was fast and delicious with a hometown feel. Prices were on point! The owner was a great host and very kind as well. We will remember this experience for the rest of our lives! Well done!

I was very excited that we found our new go to diner but the prices were way too high. I ordered the doubl double which was two eggs and a generous portion of corned beef hash both items were very good but to my dismay was charged $3.00 for homefries and another .50 for onions. The toast was $3.00 and because I got cinnamon raisin another .50. My husband got eggs and ham and was charged $5.00 for a small portion of ham. He also got homefries with onions at $3.50. Is 2 scrambled eggs and toast was $6.25. So needless to say our $15 breakfast was $30.00. Service was very good but will not be back because of all the up charges. Kim B.

Monadnock Country Cafe is a relaxed locally owned country cafe. Yes, sometimes refills on coffee can be slow, or you may have to ask for the check. However the food and food service is always top notch. We always have been served the food as soon as it’s done being cooked and it’s always hot and yummy! The cinnamon rolls are to die for!
