What a lovely birthday dinner we had for my two best friends! The drinks to every bite of food we had were absolutely delicious. Our waitress was very polite, checked on us a perfect amount of times and catered to whatever it was that we needed. I will absolutely be back to this establishment. Bravo Bernini!

Best Italian food west of the North End. so good that you'll think that you're dinning in sunny Italy. I'd give them an extra star if they installed it soda dispenser instead of selling by the can. Mangia bene!

Fantastic place to dine. We stopped in on a whim, and reservations are preferred. We were greeted by a hostess who helped us find two seats at the bar. The garlic knots are the best 👌 and the food is delicious.

Excellent food! Nice small place that is decorated nicely. Well run, and they stay on top of things.
They need more than one good highchair if they want more families to come in.
Overall a great spot for good food.

First visit- a hidden gem, great service by Jake and food was fabulous. Little loud for a small setting but that did not take away from anything else. Had the Tuscan Chicken, excellent dish. Would recommend this place and will be back.

You are stated with garlic knots, and they were very good.
We ordered calamari, and it was good, nice, and tender served with an aoli. Had a chopped wedge salad. It was just ok.
Then we had the eggplant rollatini, and we did enjoy that.
The atmosphere is nice, not a huge place, and has outdoor seating.
Pizzas are made with an open view.
Service was good, and everyone was pleasant.

If you’re in the area, this is the spot to go for food. Whether you decide to dine in (reservation is highly recommended and honestly rather a necessity) or get your food as take-out, the food and service are beyond. The staff are super sweet (helped find us a seat at the bar area since we didn’t have a reservation. We ordered the calamari for appetizer (it’s a big portion!) but it was very good. I got the short rib (superb and meat was falling off by itself) and my husband got the shrimp fettuccini (very good as well). The bartender (forgot her name… sorry!!!) was so quick on her feet and was able to serve around 14 people and she was sweet and gave great recommendations and made each patron feel like they were her favorite customer. While the price may be on the higher side (supposedly according to other reviews I read but I didn’t see it that way since I’m used to NYC prices) you get what you pay for and it’s worth every penny. And in all honesty, they have affordable options on the menu as well if you don’t want to get steaks and etc. Highly recommend to all.

Parking: Parking is free but during dinner rush it does get busy so you might have to wait for someone to leave to grab a spot… limited parking spaces during dinner time (we went on a Thursday at 6pm)

We had dinner at Bernini's for the first time tonight. The food was delicious. The drinks, made by Jen, were fantastic. The bar was extremely busy and Jen was pleasant and crazy efficient the whole time.

Wow, my wife and I had a great experience. We have a home in Laconia but live in Somerville, MA. We spend a lot of time in the North End eateries. Lookout Hanover St, because Bernini Restaurant can throw down with any place on Hanover or Salem St in Boston. White linen table cloths, friendly service, creative and tasty cocktails, great menu and the food is outstanding. I had braised beef and my wife had the Sunday Ragu. Make reservations or you may not get seated. The real deal that will not disappoint.

Pretty sure this place denied my family a table because we showed up with a toddler and myself still in work clothes. Didn't know if it was reservation only or a dress code before hand. A couple behind us said, "I wounder if we needed a reservation". After being turned away saying all tables are reserved, they got sat immediately.. wasn't going to make a scene there but figured this is a good way to let others know blue collar isn't welcome. Renovation looks good otherwise.

Been there several times last season. Food was good but the increase in cost of food has increased considerably and portions got smaller very disappointing. Drinks very expensive. Don’t think we’ll be going back.
