Not a bad place. They have no competition in the area because they’re genuinely the only real actual coffee shop in the area besides the other Wayfarer location.
But more than $6 for a drip coffee and a consistently somewhat awkward atmosphere gets it 2 stars.
Not good enough to charge more than $6 for a drip coffee.

Actively finishing my egg sandwich and writing my review. That’s how good it is! Barista was so kind. Great customer service.

Great little coffee shop with helpful baristas. Maple brown sugar latte, half sweet...perfect! The blueberry lemon sourdough scones are delicious! Interior is lovely.

My daughter and I were visiting from Florida and looking for a hip, healthy coffee shop. We were elated to find Wayfarer Lakeport. The food was fresh and our drinks were delicious. My daughter raved about the maple matcha and Emily was kind enough to share their recipe. We went to the other store in Laconia and were disappointed they didn't carry the veg sandwich BUT they had a variety of items for sale, most from local artists. We especially loved all of the gorgeous pottery from Miranda Bassett of nightshiftstoneware. We stopped here every morning we were in NH - I highly recommend this wonderful shop!
My go to coffee spot. Always an inviting atmosphere.

Everything is great here. But $7 for a coffee is outrageous. I’ve been in some great coffee shops across the US and the most expensive coffee I’ve been charged for is Laconia New Hampshire. Haha
Coffee and sandwich costed $40. Sandwich was dry and had almost no meat on it. Cold brew was $7 and bitter. Didn’t really feel like a cafe in there either.
Not from the area, went to go pick something up for a friend. Needed some coffee and found the closest coffee shop and I am loving it. Ordered a large iced latte with caramel and aged bourbon maple and a ham and cheese sandwich. 🤌
Always a good local cafe for solid coffee
If a homeless person came into this establishment and bought a sandwich after standing out in the cold all day collecting money for food, he'd be dead of starvation the next day.
Absolutely *insultingly* small portion sizes for the price. Farm-to-Table or not, this is highway robbery.
