The prospects of eating here might seem daunting at first, because I think they share a parking lot with a nearby complex or other establishment, but I am glad we pushed through and asked to be seated, because this might have been our best eating while visiting NH this summer! We ate outside, which was our preference as we aren't really into the bar scene of trivia and live music (caution if you similarly don't prefer such environs), but the beer selection was wonderful and the food! I had wonderful fish & chips with a piece of haddock about a long as my forearm and wonderfully crispy, and my wife had a pulled pork sandwich she quite loved. If you are into a pub atmosphere this place will be a bonus for you, but even if you don't want the overly social atmosphere, sit outside and enjoy the hell out of the food.
I am firmly dissatisfied, I went with my boyfriend after the gym and ordered a buffalo chicken salad . No dressing no blue cheese , I got the cheese anyway. I am highly lactose intolerant this being the first and only thing I ate that day as well there was no doubt that their food is was cause the following two days of my life to be nothing but throwing up out of both ends and writhing in pain .
Very accommodating. Went out of their way to make our experience perfect. Food was very good, too!
I was really impressed with this location, far more than the one in Newbury. The food was exceptional, I had the chicken broccoli mac and cheese with a bloody Mary. Both were great, at the table we also had the brussel sprout appetizer which was excellent. Apparently, the vegetarian Ruben was also really good, which surprised me, I wouldn't have expected that. Everyone loved their food, it was fast, and the service was great.Definitely recommend
Excellent service. Good atmosphere. Will definitely stop in again for drinks.
Went for lunch on the weekend. Staff was nice. Service was fine - they seemed like maybe they were short staffed. My lunch was ok. Bloody Mary was ok - no celery :(Brussel sprouts were EXCELLENT!!! I'd go back just for those.
Stopped for a few appetizers and drinks. Food was ok. Chicken tenders and fries , pretzel with dips. The cheese dip was awesome ,house dip not so much. Fried Brussel sprouts may have been over fried and under done. Not bad , just a little chewy. Drinkw were good but at 12 bucks a pieceI wasn't impressed. Atmosphere was nice and the waitress was attentive and did a great job.?
I just finished a wonderful Steak Salad. The salad was fresh and the steak was done beautifully rare, to perfection. I have been staying at the Fireside Inn for a Postal Academy. The end of the days I have been tired and wishing there was a good meal nearby. Yesterday I noticed the Salt Hill Pub was in walking distance of my hotel. Today I stopped in for a drink and a takeout dinner. The staff was friendly the salad fresh and the steak was still hot when I got back to my hotel. Just wish I had found it sooner.
Good food and great service from friendly staff. Stop by on the right night and catch some live music. Enjoy a Reuben and a beer (or two). Hang out and chat with Tara. It’s all a treat!
The fries are so good!! Had a Reuben sandwich which was also very good, fresh! Nice atmosphere

Great food and atmosphere!
Not bad food. Servicer needs to pay more attention to her customers drinks. When one sits it on the eage of the table that is your cue to refill.
Service was excellent. I've been many times. The food is usually excellent as well. I had the Verda Mae burger. Not my favorite thing on the menu but still quite tasty.
Decent food. Reasonable drink selection. I got sausage and mash, could have been hotter (was not cold, but the sausage fat was not juicy). Veg reuben was really tasty. The toffee was great.
They served the BEST onion rings that I have ever had and a darned fine cheeseburger. Yum!
