We discovered this place one summer while we were here for a lacrosse tournament. And make sure we stop before we head up to the cabin. The staff is amazing and so friendly they always have a smile on their face. The food is delicious, I dont think there is anything we have order that we didn’t like. I highly recommend Black Mtn Burger Co.

Meh food. Ordered my burger medium and it came out rare. Fries were clearly frozen and a little crisp. Waitress was helpful and nice.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on Monday afternoon around 3 pm and there was a 10 minute wait for a table, and we were seated between the kitchen and the exit door. We ordered a bowl of New England corn chowder which was lukewarm and tasted like Sysco products. The burger was delicious but the maple mayonnaise sauce was nothing special. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The overall value and experience was okay.

The waitress was very RUDE!! The food was good once we got it waited a very long time. Don't ask for anything like ketchup if it's empty or where the bathroom is. Wow!! Unbelievably rude!

Be ready for 45 mins wait for an untoasted bun! Make sure to reserve before arriving on a busy day there was a 45 mins wait to get in!

Great food. The bison burger was incredible, and the onion rings were great. I used the virtual queuing system to get a table - and this worked fine. I was on my own so was seated at a high window long table (bar-like) which had 4 seats with someone else sat at the other end. The noise level was quite overpowering but the staff were really friendly and conscientious.

The food was great I must say . The wait was not too bad for being a busy touristy season and day . It was our first time here . I think they should limit the bathrooms to customers only since I waited in the bathroom line for about 30 minutes Two stalls ? long lines. My only real issue was the waitress had an attitude problem with me cause I asked her to change my drink out due to the soda machine was not working right with the syrups. She did get me another drink but the problem wasn’t fixed She then kept saying smart remarks about my drink issue each time I kept professional although I wanted to truly say something when I got my bill and I was charged three drinks when I didn’t drink even one whole drink I just paid the bill and left I would do take out if they had that option but due to wait time and waitstaff I don’t think I would return to the store itself I gave it a four star cause the food was actually good

We were tired after a long drive and they fitted us in very quickly. The food was excellent and lots of it. We sat at the bar and the server/bartender was really helpful and knowledgeable, fun too!
We'd definitely return.

Black Mountain is a great spot, especially if you're a fan of good food and craft beer. The menu is packed with delicious options, and their beers are definitely a highlight. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time, though, because the place gets busy—especially in the fall when tourists flock to the area. As for the service, it’s okay—not bad, but nothing extraordinary either. One thing to note is that they only have two unisex bathrooms, and the line can get long. Overall, it’s a solid choice and I would recommend it if you're in the area!
