we stopped in here for dinner after going to ice castles for my birthday. I got the fisherman's platter which was hearty and cooked to my liking... the mashed potatoes that came on the side though were like a pile of wallpaper paste sitting on a little plate. my wife got the sirloin. there's not one bite she could eat out of it when she cut the end. it was this rubbery pile of fat and goo that came out and so she cut the other end and it was nothing but grizzle... needless to say, we mentioned this to our server who simply just said oh, I'm sorry and offered to make her another one. do you know how long it takes to cook a steak? obviously we declined... the sad part is she then tried to take the steak away while the same time charging us $40 for the plate... we requested to keep the steak bc if nothing else the dog might eat it. .. for being a steak and seafood place, you should excel at these items and this was the poorest quality of steak I've ever seen. your chefs should know better . that regardless of what the vendor might send them, they need to make the decision when a product is not great to not use it .. to not make somebody else pay $40 for something they can't even eat... that meal should have been comped by Gordis... we will go to Black mountain Burger next time.
This is the 3rd time we have gone here hoping each time things would have been improved. We frequent the Lincoln area several times a year and while this place is a great location and atmosphere the food is not good quality at all. I got the filet with maple horseradish sauce with a baked potato. The meat was cooked until grey, the sauce had no horseradish flavor at all and tasted like it was poured from a jar. The baked potato had no oil or salt on the skin and was flavorless. My husband got the lobster roll that was saturated in onions and mayonnaise to the point the hotdog roll was mushy and falling apart. 0/5 for us. We will not make this mistake again.
Food was not impressive. Needed more/better seasoning. Corn overcooked. Medium rare burger was well done. Service was good. Atmosphere was okay other than the passive aggressive comment on the kids menu about controlling your kids. I would not recommend.

We stopped at Gordis Fish and Steak House for dinner and savored mouthwatering steak and scallops. Our waiter, Kevin, provided excellent service. We highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and exceptional service.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommended
Very good per usualNo seat available initially so we grabbed a couple of beers at the bar. I wish you still had the popcorn. We had prime rib and it was cooked perfectly. So delicious and moist. We also had the calamari and blue cheese salad and onion soup. Of course we finished off our meal with the ice cream sundae

Me and my wife go here every month for dinner we call ahead for reservations and for our table 31. Food is always great and service is great as well, we usually have Chris as our waiter and he is great. I won't eat anywhere else but Gordy's when we are up here, and we are here every month.

Great experience! We made a reservation and were seated promptly. We had steak dinners and steak tip dinners that were fantastic and very well prepared. Would definitely dine here again. The woman up front was extremely hospitable!
food was ok!! was not impreesed with it at all if you ask me it was pricey for the amount of food they service you.
I had a light lunch at the bar -- a Greek dinner salad and the 'Gordi's Sangria'. They were good, but I've had better salads and sangria. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Based on just the salad and cocktail, I thought it was average.

It took us a few days to get ahold of someone to make a reservation for a Sunday evening - their hours are limited during the week and you had to call a little after 8pm. We are so glad we made the reservation as the parking lot was PACKED when we arrived. The atmosphere was very laid back and relaxed. The spinach artichoke dip was absolutely amazing. My filet was cooked to perfection and my husband’s stuffed haddock was phenomenal. Our server Kiana was quick and very attentive. I would recommend this to anyone in the area!
We tried the Fried scallops (fresh and sweet) were very pleased with the amount they served. The coleslaw was fresh and tasty, with the baked potato we were not so pleased, it was over cooked, hard and dry. We also tried the night special…BBQ ribs, chicken legs and breast, (it wasn’t the best, but it was ok)with garlic mashed potatoes (excellent )and Coleslaw, portion was big, 2 of us shared it. Overall, our first time, as we were visiting the area. We will have to comeback and try other items on their menu.
We have been there twice we had the best waiter both times I think his name was Brian! he was friendly, gave great customer service!!!! He was one of the best waiters so far! we were there today Oct 1 at noonish our slip said Bar 1 so don't know if that will help! we wanted him to know he gave us great service and food was great as well
I was looking for a lobster roll and found this restaurant online. I thought it might be a bit stuffy and pricey but it was far from that. It is a very casual restaurant with a great bar area. There was a wait list when we arrived so we opted to sit in the bar area. The service was great and we were served bread at our table which I enjoyed. I had a delicious lobster roll and my husband had the best mussels he has ever had (Belgian style in a blue cheese/garlic broth). Don't let the steakhouse name scare you off - the food is delicious and the place is not pretentious at all.
