here to celebrate the 4th..lovely place..large room.clean and comfy..
We booked a one bedroom suite for our family of four and have nothing but good things to say about our stay. They put us in on the top floor with a balcony and view of the mountain. The room was clean, spacious and updated. Linens and pillows were nice, beds were comfortable- even the two Murphy beds. Delicious breakfast that was included. Dinner at the black diamond pub was delicious. The hotel staff goes above and beyond. We have stayed in many nice hotels and this one met all our needs. Some facilities could use updates but if you just accept that this is a ski mountain and enjoy what is there, it’s perfect! We will be back!!
FAMILIES DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Absolutely awful. Started on floor 12 with a beautiful room. The bed snapped and just fell apart. Got a new room.... floor 10. Ugly, outdated, uncomfortable. Well pull down the bed.. HUGE hole in the wall. Get a new room floor 10. okay. whatever. It's fine. Still a huge downgrade from our 12th floor room. So we had constant concerns about our children's safety in these rooms with everything falling apart and just not being up to standards. (and they claimed nonsmoking when our neighbor and the entire 12th floor was actively smoking in the rooms and the cute little rooms with the chess tables and sofas. And the laundry/ice room) Tried to go to the spa after setting up a reservation 24 hours earlier. I want even in their system. After I even showed the phone call. No manners. No cares. Guests spoke badly about us having children there to the staff and to us. We were treated horribly all around. They ruined our vacation after spending $$$$s to be there. Not happy. Probably won't ever even go back to NH because of them.
We enjoyed our one night stay. The people were all nice and service good. Loved the bar tender though we did not even drink. I will say the place was very clean which is nice to see. I would recommend it. The one thing we did not like was the noise from all the air conditioners. We had a nice balcony but could not sit on it as our neighbors air conditioner was too loud.
The weather was frightful, but the Mountain Club on Loon was delightful. I can't say enough about the great service and amenities at the Mountain Club. From our greeting at the front desk, to our great room and fabulous meals at the Black Diamond (Chris is awesome) , Mr. McIver and his team were spot on. With the weather in the Northeast this spring/early summer being rainy, it was very nice to have covered parking and everything connected inside, no need to get wet when using the inside amenities such as the indoor pool, spa and dining. We were able to spend time out at the outside pool that has a spectacular view of Loon Mountain. We went for a quick 2day getaway and we took advantage of the Rise & Dine package which included a 3 course meal for two and daily breakfast for the 2 of us, plus a Spa Certificate that my wife used to get a manicure. The package was very reasonably priced and we consider it a great deal. I would highly recommend a stay at the Mountain Club on Loon
Nice resort and beautiful area but the beds were horrible. My husband and I both had trouble sleeping and woke up with back pain due to the horrible mattresses on the “Murphy beds” in a studio room. The kitchenette was great- had all the supplies and was very clean. The bathroom and the room were nice and clean. We enjoyed both pools, the hot tub, and walking around the property. We left a night early due to bad weather and horrible mattresses.
Ed, the manager, is a beyond amazing customer service guru. He made our stay at the Loon a great experience, from his initial greeting at check to problem solving when we had a room issue. He worked quickly with us and helped to ensure that we had a great stay.
I hosted 45 customers and employees at Loon on February 09, 2023. The Loon Mountain staff was fantastic as I rented out Boyles Breakhouse for the day. Mike our host and bartender was fantastic. Unfortunately the Mountain Club had Andover Insurance events at the hotel and closed the ONLY restaurant and bar in the hotel so they could cater to that group, leaving our 45 people to have to go off site to eat. This was not why we chose Loon. We wanted to stay on-site. After spending 10k this was very disappointing. I also had a dinner credit and breakfast credit with my room which could not be used due to the Mountain Club having Andover take over the facilities. These types of groups should be hosted in a function room, not the only restaurant and bar at the hotel. In my 30 years of hosting events, I have only experienced this here at the Mountain Club.
My husband and I came here for dinner, and everything was terrific. Until the barstool, I was sitting on started to come apart. I got up and started to trade out the broke stool for another, but then realized that stool was broken as well. Can someone tell the Mountain Club the 80’s called and would like their furniture back? Good luck competing with those new resorts down the street
Being disabled is hard enough but being disabled and losing your husband right before the holidays is even harder. I depended on this organization when I gave them my money to an advance to accommodate myself, my dogs and my children during this difficult time after handling a terrible tragic accident. See not only was I not allowed to stay there with my child who also has disabilities with our Service animals, I was asked to make another accommodation for us and prove it to them in order for my children to ski and stay during the holidays. This was a hardship for my child myself and our dogs especially since I made my original reservation I made prior to my visit. I will never visit, recommend or feel safe with anyone staying at this place and I don’t recommend anybody with disabilities go here ever again as well because not only was this behavior from their staff but it was approved by the management team after I was pleading in tears!

After an initial issue with the original room, we settled into our short trip. The room offers river views (behind it is the road, but noise overshadowed mostly by the river). Hallway noise was at a minimum. The hotel has some amenities that are better than comparable other hotels (not just compared to the local area). Pool, hot tub (with great sunrise/sunset views/sky). Dinner and bar have a very good variety. Breakfast above standard (comparable) with good eggs/roasted potatoes, sausage/bacon/bread/yogurt/cinnamon roll/coffee. They also have a great little shop inside the hotel with everything needed (sweater, toothbrush, drinks, snack bar etc), and everything is more or less at cost. Parking is in a garage, safe against the weather. There is also a spa in the hotel, with a full line of high end beauty products, and massage room. A shoutout to Scott, licensed massage therapist, who was absolutely great!! The service team throughout the hotel was very friendly and supportive. We went hiking up Mt. Washington. The distance to the cog railway was about 45 minutes. I would consider staying at this hotel again!
Stayed in the resort for the second time with daughter’s family, enjoyed the pool’s gondola ride , activity’s on top of the mt. very present staff! Food very good at the Black diamond pub, great breakfast buffet! Wait staff was great with the grandchildren, stetting a great tone for the meal. Very aware of children’s needs as well as the rest of us. I check my bill on the way out found an err, it was quickly corrected. Looking forward to our next visit!
Chris greeted us warmly at check in. He gave practical suggestions to make our stay pleasant. I do a lot of volunteer work with Jehovah’s Witnesses. On the second day of our stay, Mr. Ed, Front Desk Manager, went out of his way to allow me to use a conference room to give an interactive 30-minute presentation on Zoom. The topic was on the importance of letting go resentment and on the benefits of Forgiveness. His help added to the quality of my presentation. There was an issue with our takeout supper on the night we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. Guy, the Maître D in The Black Diamond Pub, not only made it right, but arranged for sparkling wine and strawberry cheesecake to be delivered to our room – on the house. The Ribeye steak and Scallops were outstanding by the way. Guy personally checked with us later to make sure we were well looked after. A nice touch. Cleanliness was impeccable, even the corners of the rugs in hallway and every corner of our studio were very clean. It was a most enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this for a getaway.
Booked this suite through Groupon. Great deal!!!! The only pictures I saw of the rooms were outdated. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and our suite was updated. It is right next to loon mountain which is super convenient if you want to ski or go downhill mountain biking. There are 2 pools 1 indoor and 1 outdoor with a few hot tubs.
What a great family vacation. The hotel is clean, staff very polite and accommodating. Plenty to do at the resort. We had a suite and it was large with a wonderful view. I thought it was a great value for the price and have already recommended to friends.
