I have never in my LIFE waited one hour for a breakfast. ESPECIALLY not when there were only 4 tables ahead of me. (I counted). I can not believe how bad the service was, and how slow the food came out. Probably one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to.

The service was really great, but the food was below average unfortunately. Everyone at the table commented that their dish lacked flavor, although the presentation was really good. It's especially dark in there which makes it hard to see. Other than that, it did the job and fed us!

Ordered to-go for dinner after a long hike, and wow was that a mistake. The food was overpriced and just pathetic. $15 for a “grilled Caesar” that was literally just a bundle of romaine with a tiny char on one outside piece. Got a $40 ribeye that had a piece of paper under the meal, which was soaked and breaking off into the food when we tried to cut it. The house pasta cost $32 and tasted like nothing. I cannot believe we wasted over $100 on this meal when we could have had significantly better food at McDonald’s. This place is a straight SCAM.

Server was new, and sweet, so trying to be gracious, but why put a brand new server on a table of 9? She didn't know the menu at all, and the manager ended up coming over to check our orders. When we finally got our food, flavors were great so potential is there, but literally everything was cold! And the fries tasted like they were yesterday's! Very disappointing as this was our only dinner out for our family vacation. Then add the prices, and its downright infuriating! The live band sounded good though and I bumped the atmosphere rating up for them!

Very disappointed. The only thing saving this place is the warm pretzel stick appetizers . Service is awful . Not very attractive. Waiter asked me if I wanted appetizers separate from entrees I said yes . And he brought everything out at the same time . Prime rib was all fat . Chicken Mac and cheese was awful I could make it better at home . They gave me a hard time about using the voucher that was provided. I had to flag down the waiter for the check . And I called twice from the hotel room to get pretzel sticks to go and they don’t answer the phone . When meals are charged to the room they get a 20% gratuity included that explains the horrible staff . Overall extremely disappointed it ruined my stay at Loon

Very disappointed, dinner menu was different from online menu wasn't the same as restaurant menu, no choice of sandwiches except burgers, no chicken sandwiches, or clubs, literally only 5 entrees to choose from & only 2 burgers, I'll never eat dinner here again! Hopefully breakfast will be better. I hope. They don't have lobster rolls either. I had the shrimp pesto pasta, giant shrimp! But the pesto lacked flavour, hubby had the salmon, & he was very satisfied with it.

Sucks to Spend over a 100 bucks on two adult entrees snd a pretzel bite appetizer. Only thing saving a star is the pretzel which is sad when it blows the 38 dollar steak out the water oh and the screen playing redbull stunts added my one star for atmosphere! . Steak was legitimately 70% inedible fatty and this coming from a guy who likes the fatty side of a brisket lol the service was as slow as frozen syrup which rather have legit heated up 1 dollar chicken ramen in room and saved the money . Here’s a pic of me sending my 38 buck steak to trash. Next time would rather get back in leaf peeper traffic for 45 min to get the two miles down road to better better dinning establishments .

I have never had a more negative resturant experience. Paid $100 for an appetiset ( missing ingredients ) steak ( overcooked ) side dishes ( not what I ordered. Went back down to bar from hotel room. Bartender ( who i later found out from hotel manager ) was the Food and Beverage manager gave me nothing but attitude and disrespect. Furthermore he lied to my face by saying today was his 1st day ever working here. The hotel manager will handle the complaint I feel sure but please don't waste your hard earned money by visiting here. You deserve better !

My wife and I were staying in the area back in mid Sept. We decided to try the Black Diamond Pub. We were there on the eve of the Scottish Highland games.
The food was outstanding and the great service to match. Located at The Loon Mountain ski area. A great selection of everything.
And very reasonably priced.

Terrible!
Horrible service, we put in our orders and never saw our waiter until our entrees came out and again for the bill.
Bad to mediocre food, everything was over cooked and bland.
The only good thing was the cocktails.

We went here on a Sunday night and the ONLY option was the $50 buffet. The food was all completely bland. The meat was slightly warmer than room temperature. Thankfully no one got sick from this unsafe meat temperature. There were no healthy options except overcooked broccoli and zucchini. No seasoning or flavor. The only tasty buffet item was the cheesecake that was excellent. The staff was very friendly and efficient.
