White Mountain Tavern at Woodward's Resort

This place was so incredible. We eat out regularly and when we're on vacation I love to explore local eats but we actually ate here both nights because it was so incredible.

Ended up having dinner at the white mountain tavern while staying at the Woodward Inn. Despite the empty dining room, the back bar had a nice crowd and an amazing live music. The service was great, very attentive. The chicken fingers were very delicious. Drinks were great.

We had a large group. 20 people. 10 kids and 10 adults. I contacted WMT about a reservation during our Ski Trip to the area. They were so accommodating! Right from the start they said they could take a party our size and gave us a couple of options on how we could do this. Considering we were in a ski town where a bunch of the other local restaurants weren't willing to work with us, this alone earned them 4 stars. And then they exceeded that rating. Not only was the staff friendly and awesome, but the food was fantastic. Especially the steak tips! Melissa and Shay were our waitresses and were amazing. They were attentive, got everything out to us on time and nothing I type will do them justice! They went above and beyond! Our entire party had the Best time including the 10 kids! Our next Friends ski trip to the area this will definitely be an annual stop! Great Job White Mtn Tavern! And Melissa - you are a roRockstar!

Horrible service. Waited 15 minutes and still no host to seat us and it was not even busy. That’s probably why there’s no customers. Restaurant Impossible needs to come back to this place.

Nice restaurant directly attached to the Woodwards Motel. So you don't have to drive into town... Draft Bedr a bit too expensive, otherwise absolutely OK.

Very disappointed with our meals. Fries were much too salty and the chicken parmesan linguine disgusting. Food not picked up from floor, vacuum cleaner behind my chair, spray cleaner and cloths on next table. Garlic bread tasted of paraffin, inedible. Altogether abysmal.

We cautiously walked in, as there were very few choices around us and within a reasonable driving distance. Got seated right away and our waitress introduced herself. Not much on the interior decor. A bit spartan, as I glanced around. Ordered two soups of the day - Chicken soup. Seriously? But they got me fooled. It was delicious. Well portioned and well seasoned. Bravo. Chicken Tenders were ok, but Fish and Chips was inhaled. Perhaps a little more seasoning, but a minor detail since it had Cole slaw and tartar sauce to offset this. Well done and well worth the price.
