The Lobster Boat Restaurant offers standard casual seafood with accommodating servers and a pleasant atmosphere. Some dishes like the clam chowder are delicious, and the lobster bisque is decent—creamy, warm, and flavorful. The restaurant provides solid wheelchair accessibility and has a variety of options for non-seafood eaters, including gluten-free choices. Kids’ meals are a bright spot with fantastic value, and desserts like the cheesecake and chocolate cake are excellent, large portions full of flavor. Staff are efficient even during busy times. While the Fisherman’s Platter has solid fried haddock and good scallops, the fried clams were a disappointment. The shrimp were small and basic, and everything on the platter seemed to be seasoned the same way. It can be pricey, and portion to price isn't great, especially for take out.
