This unobtrusive restaurant in a Loudon strip mall has been on our list to return to since our last visit 4 years ago and we are glad we did. Both of us had a hankering for biscuits and gravy and I remembered how good their cinnamon rolls were. They didn't disappoint. Fluffy biscuit with a slight crunchy outside, gravy with the right amount of sausage and we chose scrambled eggs. The hash browns (not home fries) were perfect. We love Sunday brunch, and our usual place, a sister restaurant to this one, was very crowded so we decided to try the Eggshell. It's small, and the menu isn't as extensive as the Circle but the food was marvelous. Our waitress was a sketch. They were slammed, since it was Mother's Day, but she kept filling my husband's coffee cup. We'll definitely be back. Thanks!!
My wife and I stopped in this morning while on a quick weekend getaway. The food was really great, better than what I expected not knowing. I got the Irish eggs Bennie’s and my wife got the Biscuits and gravy, both were very good. The bacon is really good and the coffee is also very tasty.
