We have eaten at the Restoration Cafe a few times now. It is a quirky little place and it may be me but it seems to me like just another eatery that tries too hard to be different. The coffees and teas are highly specialized. They have a few traditional dishes (tuna salad, bacon and eggs) but to me there are too many dishes that they try to elevate. Some work (TAB sandwich) and some don't (grilled pumpkin bread). I had the Curry Chicken Salad which was good but the menu listed...

I visited this morning with my black Shepard. We sat out on the patio. After ordering my food inside & sitting outside. The food was prompt, as was a bowl of water for my dog. My breakfast of Avocado toast was delicious & the side mixed greens, fresh. I ordered a Chickpea salad sandwich on sourdough, to go. The sandwich is delicious. Great service & fun staff! Kudos

I think we just found our new brunch spot! Excellent customer service and excellent food. Their menu is quite extensive (I had a hard time picking what I wanted since everything sounded good!) and they also offer a wide variety of vegetarian selections. I ordered the ECC with added chorizo & a Mexican hot chocolate, while my partner had the Fall Harvest french toast from the specials menu & a tie-dye smoothie.
