Nice little old school variety store by the lake but it's surprisingly empty when you go inside... Like literally. It was a lot better when I was younger.
Yeah you can get hot food from the little diner kitchen which usually isn't bad just underwhelming and overpriced.
I almost wonder if the regular crowd that I see there all the time gets a deal...
$17.39 for a large (10in not a 12in) BLT sub w/extra bacon (which looked like it should be a regular portion) is robbery!!! Barely any lettuce or tomato on it...
Also when I asked for a hangover cheeseburger sub (fried egg, bacon, cheeseburger) one time (something incredibly simple to make especially at a place that serves breakfast and lunch) I was rudely turned down.
When I asked what the reason was or if they were joking they said no I'm not joking we are done serving breakfast. So we can't do the egg but we can do bacon on the burger...
Yeah... They couldn't take 2-3 eggs out and put them on the skillet next to the bacon and patties?! Because they were done serving breakfast...
I was shocked I tell you shocked. Ever since the only time I've ever gone here is as a last resort because I work down the street and if I forget to get anything to eat it is quick.

Got myself a steak and cheese to try out. So good! The steak is closer to steak tips and seasoned perfectly. I’ll definitely be adding this into my regular sub spot!

Best cheesesteak I've ever had in my life. I'd drive all the way from Northern NH to get it again. The service was great, the atmosphere is classic, and the prices are worth it. Trust me. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Great service, the owners are awesome! Food is ALWAYS good, especially because they automatically know I like my fries and onion rings in a brown bag!

Absolutely! Here’s a short and punchy review you can post online or use anywhere:
If you’re anywhere near this place and don’t get a breakfast sandwich, you’re doing mornings wrong. The eggs are perfectly cooked, the bacon is crisp, the English muffins are always fresh, and the flavors hit that sweet spot between hearty and crave-worthy. And don’t even get me started on the grilled blueberry muffins—golden on the outside, warm and bursting with juicy blueberries inside. It’s like your favorite childhood muffin got a five-star makeover. So simple, so good, so worth it.
This is one of those stores, I don't even need to be hungry, I just stop by any time I'm driving by. It has been many years and they got rid of the milkshake machine, but the grilled cheeseburger is as good as I remember
