Casual spot, indoor and outdoor seating, counter service.I had the beef and lamb gyro, the pita was nice, but I found the meat to be extremely bland and unseasoned. Was light on the amount of meat as well.Maybe the blandness is a New England adaptation? Gyros generally have much more flavor. Not a terrible place, but very bland gyro meat.

Best Gyro I've had in 20 years, at least. Definitely worth the walk from my hotel. Hands down the best bread for sure.

It's evident that this place changed ownership. Today I was served their version of burnt ends. Workers who could care less and flavorless gyros. Too bad, it used to be good.

Sunday night, things aren't exactly hopping, even on Elm St. Shouldn't be difficult to get something good to eat, right? Well, starting with the girl who answered the phone, with zero personality, to my order NOT being made as I requested (no rice, no fries) to the gobs of chicken fat and barely any meat in my bowl, it was a huge disappointment and waste of money. I shouldn't have to explain why I requested no rice or fries. My boyfriend's falafel was ok, but we most definitely won't be back. HOW does this place have FOUR stars???? It was terrible!

If you blink you'll miss this spot on Elm Street, never had a pork gyro before and I can see why it's the top recommendation. Meat was tender, toppings were fresh and the fries were crunchy. I've had good gyros and mediocre gyros; this place was great and I'll go back again. Falafel sounds like a good choice too.

We ordered here again today and had burnt pita bread :-( I wish the employees would throw away a burnt to the crisp pita bread rather than serve it to somebody as a gyro for $15 because it was not edible everything just tasted burnt! I hope this place isn't going downhill cuz I have always loved the food here. It hurts to spend $15 and not be able to eat your food when it would have only cost them like 50 cents to throw away the pita bread that they burnt and start a new one my whole office ordered for my birthday lunch and I was a little embarrassed cuz I told everyone how good it was. I'll definitely try back. I would just like to give a little input if it's not 100% you should throw it away and start over.

Ive always ordered from here and unfortunately today was my last time. First thing I noticed was we were waiting in the front to order and no one was there to greet us. Then all 3 employees came out and after ordering- the employee making our food was only wearing one glove. After making our food with one glove, they proceeded to touch the dirty fridge with that same glove and ended up touching all of the new bread on the dirty counter. It is so crucial to utilize sanitary practices especially when handling food.

We had the gyro spot food truck for our wedding in August and EVERYONE raved about it. We had 3 different food trucks but it seemed the gyro truck was the most popular. As the bride and groom, as weddings go, we ended up not eating at all. One of our kids attends college in Manchester so we met up for lunch yesterday. Phenomenal!! Everyone's meal was fantastic. It's a seat yourself, order at the counter setup. A totally laid back atmosphere with great traditional Greek offerings. We had various gyros, feta fries and fried dough for dessert. No complaints! Plentiful serving sizes and delicious meals. If you're having an event I highly recommend hiring the food truck. If you're in Manchester, make a stop.

The reason I gave a 4 star for the gyro spot is because they messed up my order a few times. I didn't call for a follow-up, so that's on me, but I expect my order to be correct no matter what. The food is 5*, and need to fix the service.

I ordered three gyros, two pork (they had no chicken) and one lamb/beef. All were cold, tasteless and honestly inedible. Very disappointed , I will not be back.

Five stars for The Gyro Spot in Manchester, NH! Absolutely delicious food with authentic flavors that never disappoint. My only wish? That they would expand and open more locations across the state. Can't get enough of their amazing gyros!
