2 meat platter was incredible. Live music is incredible. I heard through the grapevine that they have one of the best smash burgers east of the Mississippi.

The BBQ was delicious. My group—including 4 adults and 3 children—ordered the large BBQ Texas platter (final boss). Everything included was delicious and the portions were large enough for us to each have enough of everything have plenty of leftovers.

We will be coming back.

Super cozy spot! Hubby and I popped in for dinner, he had the land cruiser beer and I got the blonde ale. I'm not a beer person and it was perfect. I got the brisket Mac which was to die for, brisket was cooked too perfection and you get actual brisket not just chopped bits. Hubby got the 2 meat platter with the brisket burnt ends and sausage. Oh my LANTA, get the burnt ends! They were melt in your mouth soft but with a great crispy bark. I'm mad we live 4 hours away. We'll definitely be back!

French fries were really good. I feel like I had a pickle sandwich not much pork. Not as good as I was hoping.

Pretty good value meal for a group. Very tasty. Parking is limited though so you will have to park in the big lot. All 4 of us were easily filled by the big plate 😋

I had the pleasure of organizing a team dinner for a large group, and The Angry Hog truly delivered an exceptional experience. Working with Joe was a breeze, as he provided valuable recommendations for our menu selection. The brisket was hands down the favorite among the dads, showcasing the quality and taste that The Angry Hog prides itself on.

Our spread included a variety of delicious options such as pulled pork, pulled chicken, smoked thighs, brisket, Mac and cheese, slaw, macaroni salad, garden salad, and even chicken fingers for those with simpler tastes. The meal concluded with delightful desserts like apple crisp and banana bread pudding, leaving everyone satisfied and content.

Opting for the delivery and setup service was a wise choice, as they arrived punctually and had everything ready for our dinner service at six o'clock. The convenience and efficiency of their service truly elevated the overall experience for our gathering.

If you're seeking a refreshing change from the usual dining options, I highly recommend giving The Angry Hog a chance. Their delectable offerings, exemplary service, and attention to detail make them a standout choice for any event or occasion.

The brews are good! Loved them, but the BBQ was terrible.
Ordered the burnt ends plate (Brisket & Pork Belly w potato salad, onion rings & jalapeño corn bread. The burnt ends were cooked in the bbq sauce. They were dry and hard. The corn bread had good flavor but dry. The onion rings & potato salad were ok.

If you know good bbq, especially if you are from Texas, come for the brews, not the bbq.

The staff was amazing and friendly provided plenty of utensils and whatever needed for my take out order. I was informed about the long wait which was 45 mins. It was a 6 mins drive back. The food was cold. The mac and cheese was absolutely horrible, not traditional. The cornbread was pretty amd moist. The avocado cucumber salad didn't have dressing and taste old. Highly disappointed after waiting 45 minutes.

Ordered take out. Expected fried pickles spears and a simple sandwich with smoked turkey. Forgot the ranch sauce with the pickle slices instead of spears. Missing half the bread on the sandwich filled with deli meat. The $80 Texas meat tray fell very short on the flavor for the ribs and the chicken; sausage was made by someone else, and the brisket was simply covered in pepper. Absolute disappoint ment from a high rated BBQ joint. Overall, it is a good price per pound, but I have a feeling the quality may only come with dining in and drinking plenty of flights.
(Updated 7/21) I emailed Joe the following morning (7/20) for a follow-up and haven't received any response or further outreach.

We ordered here yesterday and were very happy. We originally wanted brisket but that was not available, which I take it to mean,it was delicious and sold out! We went with pork burnt ends, which I got turkey and he got sausage.Everything was delicious and fresh, the potato salad and coleslaw was fresh and very tasty the pork burnt ends were bbq-ey,smoky goodness and the smoked turkey was very good,it wasn't dry and had a hint of spiciness from the rub they used.My friend enjoyed his meal and said his smoked sausage, fries and the mac and cheese were good. Everything is delicious and you need to come and try it!
