Honestly, it's one of the best places to get dinner. The wait isn't bad, restaurants in town get pretty busy depending on time of year, and the price to food ratio is amazing. It's about the same price as most BBQ joints but the servings are almost 2x the size. Definitely a spot my family visits whenever we are in town!
It's a counter order service where they bring the food and drink to your table. The nicely smoked pulled pork and pulled chicken in a large platter with a couple sides and cornbread was more than enough for 2 people. The portion size is definitely more than normal with a very reasonable price. The wait staff was friendly, helpful and efficient, and it's probably the best BBQ place in town.
We just ate at Twin Barns Brewing in North Woodstock, NH where the kitchen is run by Angry Hogs BBQ. We each got a 2 meat dish which came with two homemade sides, and jalapeño corn bread. I got the Texas brisket and the Burnt ends with mac & cheese and cowboy beans. Portions were great and the food was excellent. I was most impressed with the burnt ends.
