Had a great overnight stay this past weekend at the Henniker Motel! My boyfriend and I needed a last minute stay after spending a day in Laconia. The ride from Laconia was only an hour and was smooth. Tim (the owner) is lovely! He was very helpful and kind. We are not from the area, so he gave us plenty of recommendations and information about the area. Would definitely come back here. He also has two cute turtles named Shaggy and Scooby :)
Stayed here the night before a trail running race and I have to comment on how friendly the owner/manager was. Called to let him know we'd be arriving after 9pm and he typed out a nice letter with all the info we needed, put the keys in an envelope and left it for us. The motel is basic but very clean and quiet.
We had a fantastic time slope-side at this cute throw back motel! The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. The owner, Tim, is so friendly and accommodating! Most of all, you just can’t beat the location; you can walk right over to the Pat’s Peak base-lodge and pub. If that wasn’t so fun, we would have made it back to sit by the fire or take a dip in the heated pool. This is the way to go if you’re skiing at Pat’s Peak. We...
