This place is an institution. An absolute hidden gem, and I would be lying if I said it wasn’t the best soft serve in town. With an amazing selection of rotating flavors, king kone stands tall as a local favorite and a must have as soon as they open for the season. If you’re wondering if it’s worth it, we drove out in the pouring rain to get our first cones of the season, and it was worth every raindrop.

An icon in the Merrimack area! Ice cream flavors rotate pretty frequently, so there is always something new to try. There are only a handful of flavor options every day, but tons of different toppings or combinations to pick from. If you are not a fan of soft serve ice cream, I recommend going to Haywards or somewhere else as these guys really specialize in soft serve. A must visit if you are in the area!Parking: Parking is absolutely brutal here with only about 7-10 spots open in their lot. Otherwise you'll have to park on a very busy street.

So much soft-serve..... The large is legit a mountain (much larger than their image, it comes in a large paper bowl and is stacked ~10 inches high)
Extremely disappointed. Yesterday they were out of ice cream at 4. A very nice man in the parking lot apologized, and we were understanding. The reviews are so good, we decided to try again today! I called and no answer at 4 PM. The voice-mail message is from 2022, but I don't expect an ice cream to answer the phone or update their message. Arrived to lights on but the same "We're all out of ice cream" sign on the window. Update the listing, if your closed for the season.

I would be dishonest if I didn't mention that this is my favorite ice cream spot. I can appreciate that it is not everyone's favorite since it is soft serve, but I have never seen a place that offers the variety of flavors that King Kone does. Staff are always great, usually teenagers who are well staffed and crank cones out pretty fast! The line can get long, especially on those summer nights, and the parking lot becomes jam packed. But loyal customers will park on the side of the road and walk up. And napkins are always well stocked. I look forward to this every year!

I enjoy the many flavors & creations created at King King. I understand everything has increased the price but I don't believe a baby size ice cream should be $5. Just my opinion.
