Pizzico Ristorante Bar is located in a shopping strip next to a Shaw's Supermarket, an odd location for quite excellent Tuscan style Italian, and one of the best in the area. The food is always delicious, with generous drinks and consistent quality. The ambience is not as noisy as most restaurants, and the prices are reasonable. Popular menu items include the carbonara, pizza, and gluten free penne bolognese for those with Celiacs. The staff is very attentive, and the bar is active.

However, service can be a major issue. The majority of servers are either poorly trained or aren't mature enough to have a job, and it takes a long time to get a drink. Servers have been seen popping bubble wrap loudly for upwards of 10 minutes, disrupting diners. One server forgot to bus drinks, leaving them sitting for over 15 minutes. Guests have had to ask for a check three or more times and have found staff in the back messing around on their phones. One guest arrived 12 minutes before Happy Hour ended, but the server took so long that Happy Hour was over by the time the drink order was taken. There have also been charges for blue cheese olives in a $14 martini without any mention. The management is giving vibes of an establishment run by careless teens. None of this feedback applies to server Lorie, who makes great drinks quickly and has good interactions.
