I finally made it here (and was so sad to learn they are closing soon)! I ordered the legume sandwich, was delicious and moist (who likes a dry burger?). Everything looked fresh and homemade. The plantain appetizer was also great!

Really fun, delicious addition to the Milford oval. Every bite was amazing, even for our pre-teens.

**Not authentic Haitian**
However, everything we ordered were phenomenally delicious. From the cocktail Nutty Professor , to App of Corn Bread & Chicken Croquette, to main course of Sweet Potato ChickPea Curry & finally dessert of Guava Passionfruit cheesecake. And the wonderful & attentive service from Jacob!

This is my favorite restaurant in NH. Every bite I’ve had here has been delicious. Great drink and dessert menu. Plenty of vegan options. And friendly service. The menu changes occasionally but the cauliflower tacos, coconut chickpea curry, and Legume sandwich are my favorites. Save room for dessert!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options available, including small plates, mains, and desserts.

Dietary restrictions: Items are clearly marked vegan or gluten free.

Hatian restaurant Ansanm in Milford, NH delivers an extraordinary dining experience. From the delightful Soup Joumou to the exquisite Duck Confit Tostada and the flavorful Creole Smash Burger, every dish was a culinary masterpiece. The service was impeccable, and the drinks, including the All Tai'd Up and "Zoranj Su" Old Fashioned, were expertly crafted. The Coconut Key Lime Pie was a perfect ending to a fantastic meal, complemented by a decadent chocolate cake. Ansanm is simply an amazing spot, offering an unforgettable taste of Haitian cuisine with impeccable service.

Walked over here for dinner tonight and expected Haitian flavors. Instead it was very much new hampshire flavors with a Haitian poster child for branding.

The food was quite frankly bland. Rice and peas with no trace of herbs, coconut or seasoning at all Haitian restaurant almost sounds like something you might encounter in a nightmare as a Caribbean person and yet here we are.

To the common New Hampshirite palate, perhaps this is the most groundbreaking experience ever. Unfortunately, this quality of food is sure to disappoint anywhere else.

The stewed chicken was disappointing. The sprinkles of “spicy slaw” a joke. Overall i spent $38 on a drink and this dish or bland rice and bony chicken.

It is worth mentioning that the food appeared to have been cooked earlier on and merely preheated once ordered.

Is there a real chef in the kitchen? Because based on what i experienced it seems there isn’t.

Food was great, we shared several small plates (The fried plantains, the chicken croquettes, and the duck confit tostada), and the tenderloin entree. Everything was plated beautifully, and was full of flavor. We ended the meal with the cheesecake which was outstanding. The guava and pineapple sauces were my favorite part.

We went on a Wednesday evening, so it was pretty quiet. Service was prompt and very friendly.

Will definitely be going back! I highly recommend checking out Ansam!

Visiting from Canada and stopped in for dinner. Milford looks like a beautiful little town. Haven't had Haitian inspired food before but everything was really tasty and fun to try some new flavours. Staff was attentive, and all in all a great meal.

We had a delicious dinner at Ansanm - brioche, chicken croquettes, cheese plate, risotto, and the lull chicken. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The brioche was warm and fluffy and we loved the seasonal veggies and pikliz that came with the chicken, which was juicy with a nice flavorful crispy skip. The kids loved the croquettes and the guava cheesecake was wonderful for dessert. Portion sizes were generous. The new dinner menu has great options. It has a similar feel to Greenleaf but with a Hatian/ Caribbean twist. I do miss the sandwiches, plantains, and other lunch offerings they had but am happy to see they are available on weekends now. Hopefully more dishes of that vein will make their way back on the dinner menu too. Ansanm is a gem in this area - thank you!
