Visiting from Canada and stopped in for dinner. Milford looks like a beautiful little town. Haven't had Haitian inspired food before but everything was really tasty and fun to try some new flavours. Staff was attentive, and all in all a great meal.

We had a delicious dinner at Ansanm - brioche, chicken croquettes, cheese plate, risotto, and the lull chicken. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The brioche was warm and fluffy and we loved the seasonal veggies and pikliz that came with the chicken, which was juicy with a nice flavorful crispy skip. The kids loved the croquettes and the guava cheesecake was wonderful for dessert. Portion sizes were generous. The new dinner menu has great options. It has a similar feel to Greenleaf but with a Hatian/ Caribbean twist. I do miss the sandwiches, plantains, and other lunch offerings they had but am happy to see they are available on weekends now. Hopefully more dishes of that vein will make their way back on the dinner menu too. Ansanm is a gem in this area - thank you!

We have been wanting to try this place since we had some samples of their food at the Distillers Showcase and it did not disappoint. We started with the brusssel sprouts and chicken croquettes, both were fantastic. We had the Pork loin, chicken, and mushroom risotto. We ended up sharing our dishes with each other because it wa all so good we couldn’t not share. We finished with the cheesecake to share as well, on our server Jacob’s recommendation, Jacob nailed it and was great with helping us decide on dishes as well as dessert. We will be back!!!

We decided to try this Haitian restaurant owned by a Top Chef TV series contestant. The atmosphere was adorable. Small, but very cozy and bright. We went for lunch and ordered 2 sandwiches and tacos. The chicken sandwich was delightful. The chicken thigh fried to perfection and not greasy. The bun was earthy but not heavy. The cheese was oozey and went well with the cream sauce. The spices were delicious. I wish it was a little bolder on the spice elements, but it was great. The Smash Burger was different, but a good kind of different. Fresh, thick tomato with a delicious, creamy and ketchupy sauce on top of a meatloaf type burger (almost like a meatball consistency). Again, I do wish the spices were more bold, but it was excellent. The pork tacos were on point. You had that quintessential carnita pork taste with the fresh cilantro and other herbs and a delicate yet powerful sauce.Service was friendly and diligent.I'd say, don't be as shy with those spices, but even still, five stars!!! .I'll be trying "Greenleaf", this chefs other milford restaurant, as soon as possible.

I tried Ansamn with my fiance and our friends and I could not get enough of these dishes. I wish I had taken good pictures of the dishes because they were delicious but what I really want to highlight is the service. The food can speak for itself (its beautiful and phenomenal) but I tell you that I have never felt so well taken care of at any other restaurant like I did the other night. The wait staff and chef went above and beyond to ensure that we were treated with the utmost care and kindness. Our server was ready with recommendations on what to avoid dur to my dietary restrictions and suggestions for anyone unsure of what to try and she was attentive but not too pushy. I will definitely be back soon and can't wait to try another dish.Dietary restrictions: Dairy sensitivity, Shellfish allergy, pecan and cashew allergies

We asked the brewer at Ogie Brewery (a great place, too) for some suggestions for places to eat. He said Ansanm was his top place. He was sooooo right!Amazing food, drinks, and service. Everything we had was outstanding. I had the duck breast large plate. Best duck I have ever had. The bartender was super friendly and made outstanding drinks. We will be back and bring family with us for this great food experience.

Chris does it again, the new & improved Ansanm is fantastic!! It was incredible before and even better now! I was so excited for the food & in the moment that I didn’t take any photos, but trust me, everything was beautiful and delicious! We had the adobo brioche, scallop crudo, and chicken croquettes for small plates. All were wonderful but the scallops ended up being our favorite. For entrees we had the ribeye, bolognese, chicken and jerk cauliflower. Every single one was a hit! For dessert we had the key lime pie and chocolate molasses cake. The key lime pie was good and the chocolate molasses cake was okay. I’d definitely recommend the key lime pie over the cake! Lastly, I’m writing this here hoping it gets seen by Chris and the team, please keep some of the ansanm originals like the fried chicken sandwich, v.o. griot, chickpea curry, etc. These were staples that we really looked forward to & would love to still be able to enjoy them! Even if you just had a special day of the week or month where you special released them. We’d love you for it, they were just too good to never have again! Thanks for the above and beyond incredible food & hospitality, we are super stoked for you guys & the future of Ansanm!!

It's taken me some time to write this review because I didn't want to deter people from visiting. This business has a great story and a great name however, this is not authentic Haitian food at all. I'm writing the review because I wish my family and I had known. If you are hungry and from out of town you would be highly upset. Again, it's not authentic, it doesn't taste like Haitian food whatsoever and most of the items we asked from the menu were not available. Furthermore the staff were not familiar with the food they were serving. They couldn't tell us how some of the food was made nor if it was available. I think this place has potential especially with the chef that is backing it, but again it's NOT AUTHENTIC.

Overall good food, but not real authentic Haitian tasting food as advertised and expected. This is an "American" Haitian restaurant food. Food does not taste the way it should. The only way you would know is if you are actually from Haiti and spent time there. But the food is good, just not Hatian taste like.

We love Greenleaf, so figured we'd try their other restaurant for a quick lunch. The jackfruit tacos were great! The hot sauce was really good. I can't remember the soda they have...but it's orange, bottled and delicious!

Tried it once and loved it so try to several times since. If you haven't tried it, definitely give it a shot. It's something different for Milford New Hampshire and should be very popular with everybody

Delicious food, something for everyone, wonderful and polite staff. Portions are huge, price is very reasonable. I always leave here with leftovers. Incredible hot sauce as well. Two thumbs up!

Love Ansanm! Been here a few times now and they've never let us down. The food and cocktails are some of my favorite in Milford.
