I was surprised to find what an Asian slant it had to the menu. All the food that everyone ordered look delicious. My chicken sandwich was good but not as spicy as I was anticipating and in fact I couldn't really taste the spicy sauce at all but I like the coleslaw on it. Service was efficient. prices were a little high but I guess that's everywhere these days.

This place was recommended by a dog walking friend. And he was right, it was delicious. My wife and I sat at the bar and split the Kungpao chicken (appetizer) and shaking beef. The vegetables in both dishes were nice and crunchy while the meat of each dish was perfectly done. The wood work is beautiful and unique. Our server Sierra was very friendly, attentive, and knew all about the drinks and food dishes

This spot is truly nice. The atmosphere and music were lovely, creating a really pleasant dining experience. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel very welcome.
As someone always on the hunt for great pho around, I can confidently say their pho was delicious – definitely a new favorite! My husband's dish was also excellent, We'll definitely be back!

First - I wanted to say I came in with an open mind. I saw some of the reviews before, but I always want to see the best of a restaurant too, so I did not give feedback during the meal but observed.
Walking in, it’s extremely clear the owners/managers/employees care about the atmosphere. It is gorgeous inside. The bar is beautiful and the place is spotless. 5 stars.
Then I ordered a drink, whiskey ginger. An employee, maybe a newer employee, asked me if that was a drink made with whiskey and ginger ale. As it is a classic drink, I was nervous to be asked that opposed to leaning on the other experienced bartender that was at the bar. The drink was OK, but definitely not great.
Service was good. My server and bartenders both had smiles and were quick to deliver food and drink.
Here’s where I think the team missed the mark - the food. I’m not sure if it’s a quality issue or a prep issue, but it was very clear to me that a lot was premade from my meal/app. For example, the crab rangoons sauce tasted and had the consistency of Kraft Sweet and Sour sauce. The crab rangoons themselves had little flavor to them, although hot and hit the spot at 8 pm. I had the chicken sandwich as well. The buns were 100% frozen and pulled at the last minute, as they were EXTREMELY stale and took away from the great flavor of the sandwich. The sweet potato fries also looked freezer burned. I couldn’t finish either and unfortunately threw in the towel before I was full so I will be going elsewhere.
I am looking for businesses here in Milford to succeed and do my best to patron them frequently. I would not be opposed to coming back another time, as maybe this was an off night. I thought my feedback might be helpful for future visits, and I am looking forward to seeing what they do in the future as it looks promising.

If I could leave a negative I would. Horrendous from top to bottom. Go to Shaws, it’s next door and you could leave feeling like you got a meal. “We will give a refund for what we messed up on.”… refund never came. Avoid this place at all cost.
The Sun Bar & Grill has a very interesting menu. There is a mix of Asian items as well as American food items. I got the wonton pho. Overall, the broth was good and authentic tasting. Wonton is not a usual meat in pho but it wasn't a bad pairing! The restaurant space was also very nicely decorated and clean. The wait staff was also very friendly and attentive. They also have a kids menu which is always very appreciated!

There was an issue with our food and when brought to the attention of the server little was done to rectify the situation. No manager approached the table. This was our second attempt at this venue, both visits were not great overall. I hope they improve things as we will not visit again for the foreseeable future.

I kept hearing this place was great and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations. You certainly don't feel like you're in a strip mall Restaurant, the interior is gorgeous and very comfortable. The menu had so many options I was interested in. I ended up sharing the calamari appetizer and getting the Vietnamese beef stew. Both were absolutely excellent! I can honestly say this is going to be one of our new regular spots. And, exceptional staff!

Stopped in for a quick dinner. We had crab ragoon as a starter. They were tasty. My wife had chicken pho which she said was very good. It smelled good. I had a bacon cheeseburger with bacon which was tasty. Andrew did a great job. Very attentive. Food came out quick and hot. Nice job Sun bar and grill.
