One of my fave local breakfast spots. Great combination of standard breakfast fair, but some funkier options as well.
Parking: Parking can be rough depending on when you get there.

Food was delightfully good work super fresh ingredients. Service was prompt and friendly. Just a nice place to stop for a great lunch.
Parking: We found parking right out front, but I believe there's more parking out back.

Came during pumpkinfest and waited on the patio for a half hour before we were able to get an outdoor table. In said half hour, and while we were being seated, no one bothered to tell us dogs were not allowed on the patio. It was only when someone came to take our order that we were finally informed.

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant but also a local staple. The staff here were very friendly and professional. I enjoyed the interior design and decorations. The food here was delicious and it came out fast. There is some parking along the side of the restaurant. I am looking forward to going back again soon!

The portions were good, the service was great, friendly and thorough.
Everything has an odd sage/rosemary seasoning that was very overwhelming. Outdoor seating was great, the oval is an excellent backdrop, if a bit difficult to park at times.

My family and I have been coming here since the beginning of summer and from the first visit we’ve been hooked. The food is always delicious and fresh, the service is always genuine and friendly, and the restaurant is always clean and welcoming.
We’re so happy we found this gem and are always coming back for good food and a nice morning. I couldn’t have anything bad to say about the Riverhouse cafe even if I tried.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time last week, I ordered French Toast and he got some kind of bowl. My meal was good, priced decently.
His meal however, was tiny and way overpriced, $18 for the bowl. We did ask the server why the portion was so small and she offered him more eggs which was nice of her, but still not worth it.
Also $3.29 for a single, bitter coffee. Less than likely to go back.

Actually a good breakfast.
Quality, not your standard greasy diner food.
Generally busy but with the wait.

I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday this weekend, one of the biggest mistakes ever. Reason being, place is extremely dirty (don't know how health inspectors allow it, must be paying health inspectors to pass them). The tables are all gross looking and extremely old, the paint job has faded and there's food on the wall that makes it look very unsanitary. Their coleslaw was the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. Coleslaw is supposed to be flavorful and sweet, it was bitter and tasted weird. Their portions are extremely small, order a chicken tender plate and received about a handful of fries (not exaggerating) fries were awesome and tenders were awesome! Some lady wearing sandals (OSHA VIOLATION) came to my table and asked me how was everything. I told her straight up, the coleslaw was disgusting, from which she told me I could've said it nicer and asked if I wanted another side. I ended up getting a side of fries. Then when I got my check, I paid the bill and not that I care because I don't keep change anyway, I was shorted by 36 cents. I believe if they're shorting every person on their pocket change, they're making a huge untaxable profit because they're claiming they're giving their customers change to them. Therefore, if they do that to every single person, that adds up with all of the customers they get and that's 1000's of dollars a year they're not paying taxes on, which is a Federal crime (I went to Blackstone Career Institute, so I know my laws). Will never go back there again and do not recommend this place. Not sure how they stay in business, they're crooks and this place is disgusting--yuck.
