Walked into a nearly empty restaurant with only one couple eating and were turned away because we had a child. At 4:30 pm on a Thursday. I have never been to any bar, winery or restaurant like that.

We absolutely love Unwined! The food is amazing! We love the variety of tapas and quarterly changing menu. Emma and her staff are super friendly and I love the atmosphere! One of our favorite places with a great location right on the Oval!
Excellent experience! Food was terrific! I have been here several times and look forward to returning. I have tried most of the dishes and like all of them except the ostrich balls. My only suggestion is that they vacuum the stairs coming up to the restaurant.

We went to Unwined for the first time to celebrate our second anniversary and had an amazing night. The food and wine was amazing. I had the special which was pumpkin risotto and my husband had the chicken saltimbocca. The owner/sommelier came over to help us pick out a wine we would like and pair it with our meals. And the pairing was absolutely delicious. Service was fast and excellent. We felt very well taken care of all night. It also has the best view looking out over the Oval. It's the best place for dinner in the Oval and in Milford!
Parking: Use the nearby Milford Oval parking lots for easy parking. It's a short walk from there

Went here once and really enjoyed the food and drinks - well I got the NA wine as I was heavily pregnant. Came back on a weeknight dinner time with now baby and were turned away due to baby. Found this odd as definitely a restaurant vs a bar. So just note they are a strict no baby! Maybe we’ll be back in 21 years.

We sat on the rooftop deck, which was really nice. They were able to accommodate a last-minute reservation for 3. The service was a bit slow (to deliver the food to our table) and our waitress talked a little too much and shared a lot of personal details. The food was pretty good, and the diversity of the menu was great!

We went on a Saturday night around 5:30p. I recommend a reservation as they had no tables available. We were able to sit at the bar. The atmosphere is fun, great for date night. We ordered the tapas. The lamb, ostrich meatballs and octopus were all good and we enjoyed trying them. The wine was as expected.

Food was lovely. Wine is always great. A bit "upscale" and I'm saying that I'm the nicest way. I totally get what she is going for, but I'm not sure it's going to stick in location. Good luck to you regardless. I hope your future endeavors turn out great but I'm not sure it's for Milford.

We love Unwined! Emma has done an incredible job of making a high-end yet unpretentious experience here on the Milford Oval. My partner and I are faithfully at our seats at the bar every Tuesday (and usually a handful of other days as well!) and love the service from Erik, Carla, and Kevin. Our favorites are the Earthy Old Fashioned and the Hot & Dirty. We usually grab a cheese plate to nibble on with our cocktails. While we tend to get cocktails, their wine list is wonderful and every glass I've had has been a delight. I can't wait to start sitting out on the patio once the weather cools a bit—it will be amazing in the fall looking out at the foliage around the Oval! Thanks, Emma, for creating our favorite space and being an amazing small business owner.
