Great bartenders serving excellent cocktails in a relaxed, speakeasy styled bar. It's nice to have a place like this in the area.
Super fun experience. Really glad we stopped here while passing through. We ordered the Bartender's Whim and got custom, handcrafted cocktails. Cool, relaxed atmosphere and the bartender is an artist!
this is easily the best bar in nashua. the bartenders are super experienced and talented. the atmosphere is perfectly cozy. these folks work hard and it shows. don’t listen to the 1 star keyboard warriors who have nothing better to do with their time than be chronically miserable, and try it for yourself! you’ll be glad you did

CodeX B.A.R. is a cozy, hush-hush 1920s speakeasy on Main St. in Nashua, providing a unique, fun, and adventurous ambiance with a commitment to something different. The environment is considered the absolute best in Nashua and one of the best speakeasy’s in the country, featuring dim lighting, vintage décor, and comfy seating that makes it great for date night or a special gathering. The cocktails are absolutely top-notch, expertly mixed with creativity and flair, and the drinks are made to perfection. The bartenders are unrivaled and the mixology is a clear focus, whether you’re enjoying a classic Sazerac or a tailored creation.
The food menu is bold and stands out on its own, featuring items like a pulled pork dinner with mac and cheese and baked beans, meatball sub, macaroni and cheese, charcuterie board, spaghetti and meatballs, shrimp cocktail, and one hot soup daily. Decadent desserts include carrot cake, chocolate mousse cake, and cannoli cake. The service is friendly, attentive, and great from start to finish, with staff who really care about providing a unique, quality experience. The atmosphere is fun and the experience feels like stepping into another era, making it a highly recommended gin-joint gem.
