We came in for a quick bite and a margarita for happy hour. The house margarita wasn’t awesome, but for $6 it’s not that bad. Chicken tacos were really good, three big tacos were a good deal. Ask for the house hot sauce, it was the star. The salsa that comes with the chips is pretty basic but adding the hot sauce made it pop. Service was great, we loved our server Israel, he was great
My family and I really enjoy coming to La Carreta, in my opinion it's one of the best Mexican restaurants around, service is always with a smile and the food never disappoints. Great menu, loads of drink options too. My last visit was for my mother in laws birthday, we didn't even say anything, the waiter was just good at his job and prior to leaving, the whole crew surprised with a sombrero and sung happy Birthday (in Spanish of course) great touch. Edit: Had lunch there today, and was somewhat disappointed. Still good food, but not as much flavor. My friend also thought the food was not as good as in the past.
Never had anything there that wasn't good, and most of it's great. Love the Santa Fe Nachos. And they have great flan. Service is fast and friendly.
