We've been to the Rambling House several times since they opened and they've quickly become a favorite. Today was my birthday celebration and Heather provided us with great service.

They run a rotating menu and I recommend checking on the chef specials. This restaurant has multiple levels with a different service at each. Tale Spinner brewery downstairs with beer and a limited menu, Rambling House is level 1 and 2 with full food service and a bar, and a roof deck for BBQ. Beyond their menu the cocktails and mocktails deserve a try!

Had a great lunch at Rambling House on Friday with my wife and enjoyed it so much we went back for their Sunday brunch with my daughter as well.
What really impressed us was not only the food but the service both times (Sara was our waitress today, not sure who the gentleman was on Friday).
As far as the food goes, for lunch, I had a great Porter for my beer and a shrimp po boy--the shrimp were fried perfectly. My wife had their winter warmer and the short rib sandwich, which was also great.
For breakfast we had the eggs benedict with a scotch egg which was a first for both of us, and the english muffins were amazing. My daughter had eggs and the smoked meat hash which was also really tasty. I also had a really nice and spicy bloody mary and we shared a mimosa flight.

We've already scheduled another brunch there with some friends for some time later this month. Don't miss this place!

Great option for a farm to table restaurant. Everything was so fresh and crisp. The Short Ribs were amazingly moist and paired well with coconut rice and greens. The Beer Battered Haddock, locally caught, was fresh, thicker than average, and had a crisp outer layer. The Winter Salad was amazingly fresh!!! We also tried the Onion Galette which I highly recommend. I also recommend the short ribs. Neither of these drop down as an option to recommend. Get the bread when they offer it as it is warm, homemade with a crispy crust, and fantastic with their slightly sweet and salty honey butter! I had the vanilla bean ice cream which was fabulous!!!❤️. Our waitress was wonderful. She checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and that the food was to satisfaction, always with a smile and cordial tone. Dishes were served promptly with the perfect amount of wait time in between courses. This restaurant is deceiving from the outside. The street view doesn't do it justice. It is beautiful and cozy on the inside. Rambling is a gem in Nashua. Go! Eat! Enjoy!

Our favorite restaurant in Nashua, by far.

We've lived back in the are long enough now to go through 3 cycles of the seasonal menu, and the food seems to get better all the time.

We've enjoyed brunch, lunch and dinner and the experience has always been really good with excellent service.

The beers from the brewery downstairs are always of very high quality, and while the wine list is small, there are some nice choices at reasonable prices to be found.

The location is great and I'm really looking forward to being able to eat outside on the terrace when the weather is warm again and all the riverside construction is complete. It will be wonderful.

Oh, great fish and chips as well 🐟

Trying out the new winter menu. Overall very good.

Onion Galette - sweet caramelized onions in a pastry, a great starter for 2. Bread and honey butter was fresh and tasty.

5 spice brazed short rib was amazing. Tender juicy and extremely flavorful with the spice rub.

Chestnut Pork chop was well seasoned and accompanied by tasty sides. Unfortunately served a bit overcooked for my taste (estimate 165). As a result this dish gets a 4, but will try again if they are able to cook to order around medium, medium well (145 - 150F).

Dessert had the mango lime cheesecake. Creamy soft and tasty filling, the top layer that was added however didn't do it any favors and subtracted from the experience with its rubbery texture and lack of flavor.

Overall a great dining experience - 4.5.

The food was delicious. The only issues was the charcuterie wasn’t explain as what the cheeses or meats were. Also order pork chop which was very good but needed to ask for knife to cut it. We would definitely go back and would urge anyone to try.

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner for the first time and we were more than pleased and happy! The food was phenomenal and the service was amazing! Our waitress Heather was so sweet, welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu! Heather even told us about the history of the restaurant! Heather not only made sure we were happy and content with the service and food, she made us feel like a member of the family! Will definitely be coming back!

We had a great experience here. This is a family owned place and they try to keep the ingredients they use within 15 miles of Nashua, NH. The burger and vegetarian mushroom reuben were great/tasty but the fries were a bit greasy.
The quality of beers was great! Best cinnamon flavored beer(master merry distort) I had! This beer was spicy but the flavor of cinnamon was not overwhelming at all! Perfect choice for cold winter days! The place is very cozy with a good view.

We visited Rambling House the night before Thanksgiving. We had never been but will definitely be back again. Heather was our server and she made the experience even better. She is clearly very passionate about their farm to plate restaurant and why wouldn’t she be?! The food was phenomenal. Atmosphere was great and the beer they brew is worth a trip on its own.

Looking for a great place that checks all the boxes? This is it and don’t forget to ask for Heather!

Well, it's sort of small to look at when approaching, but it's much bigger inside, with a nice-sized dining bar area and several other levels, including the brewery and a rooftop area. There are nice views of the river. Great service. Great food and drinks. We really enjoyed the different food items, drinks, and their own brewery drinks. Gee, there's also a bakery. We thought it was great!!

Tucked away in a back street behind the Nashua downtown garage, we just discovered Rambling house, even though it has been around for over two years.
The food was good: chowder, which tastes like Gloucester chowder with fish, potatoes, onions and bacon. Appetizer of muscles, a very generous portion. I had a crabby patty, which was tasty but messy! My husband had the steak and told me it was good. The service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant has multiple levels, if accessibility is an issue, request to be seated on the first floor.

Rambling House is a nice cozy space. I had the chowder, mussels and a strip steak. The chowder was good. The mussels were nice and plump but a little bland, they need a lot more garlic. Steak was a proper medium rare and very tasty.

A note on the mussels, we had the half portion which was enough. Rambling's half portion would be anyone else's full portion.
