We discovered the Rambling House just this year and love it! We have been a party of 4 every time and have never had to make a reservation. Because this time, I knew we would have a baby carrier, I called at 2 pm to see if they took reservations. I was told no reservations available but for a party of 4 plus a baby carrier, the manager suggested that coming in at around 7/715 would be advisable, not earlier. We arrived at 7 and while there were tons of open tables, we were told they would not offer us a table, they had none. After discussion with the hostess, hearing the hostess chat with a server and after five minutes, the manager we heard everything from no tables, no staff, staff running two floors, by reservation only, no we couldn't wait, no we couldn't have two separate tables, no they won't be seating anyone else for the rest of the evening and more! So confused and disappointed. Never heard of a downtown restaurant not serving dinner after 7pm to tables of 2 or 4 on a Saturday night before - how do you run a restaurant like that? And why such an unapologetic rigamarole... are you open or are you not? The food is amazing, the service was always great. I feel like the rude hostess was a result of the problematic jerk of a manager! I wouldn't work with either of them. As a matter of fact, as a manager, I would have rolled up my sleeves, helped the servers and oh by the way- not enough servers, how about run only one floor and not two to make it easier on the staff. So disappointing! Good new is, we drove across the street and around the corner where Stella Blu accommodated our table of 4 plus the baby carrier. Half of their happy and pleasant staff came over to adore our little bundle of joy. We enjoyed amazing apps, entrees and deserts. We were happy to leave our $$$$ including a $54 dollar tip at Stella Blu. Totally opposite experience. I am not one to post a negative review, but the manager at the Rambling House should be reconsidered.

Talespinner is fantastic! Stephanie is fantastic and the food is so great every time. We love coming here for the trivia and will absolutely be coming back.

Was there October 4th with 11 people with reservations and I guess you can’t accommodate that many as our tables were completely separate… sadly the service was dreadfully slow 20 minutes for water and when we ordered that was prompt however out of the 11 dishes we got 10 and another 20 minutes for a bowl of chili … desert was one order that took 15 minutes … your place is a nice spot and the food is good it’s just the flow from back of the house to the front was lacking.

Great expanse at the Rambling house! Food and drinks, were great. We were able to spend a beautiful afternoon on the outside terrace overlooking the river. Our waiter Andrew was great always very attentive, polite. Andrew spent some time with us talking about the origins of the restaurant, wonderful September afternoon. Thank you, Andrew.

Great meal. Beer battered fish & chips was amazing. Very generous portions.

Definitely recommended! Their beers are delicious and have a good variety that might entice everyone to try something new. THE FOOD! It was so good. Real farm to table! Best burger I've had in a while! They do a seasonal menu, which is nice because change is good. I want to try everything on their menu. My first experience was that good! The servers and bartenders were awesome, attentive, and funny. The atmosphere is neat and overlooks the river. The only mediocre thing was the clam chowder. It was missing a thing or 2, but not terrible. Definitely going back soon!

Talespinner Brewery was a vibrant addition to the local craft beer scene, that boasted a warm ambiance blending industrial chic with a dash of whimsy. The glow from the windows invites passersby to partake in the lively buzz. Their beers are a celebration of brewing artistry, each telling its own story through rich, complex flavors. The staff's friendly demeanor made the visit feel personal, adding to the overall excellence.

We were heading to Show at the new Nashua Center for the Arts and stopped in have dinner. All in our party enjoyed their apps and meals. I strongly recommend the Wild Rice Soup! It was excellent especially on cold NH evening!

Have come in a few times over the past few weeks for trivia and have been pretty impressed. Great selection of beer, Waitstaff(Stephanie and I think Mary ) is fantastic and very attentive. Darryl that host trivia awesome and keeps it fun and challenging. Only small complaint would be it’s a tight space so it can be a little crowded but otherwise highly recommend checking it out.

Great, friendly service, good on site produced craft beer selection, full bar, easy parking, very good food. The ambience is great. This place will be booming once the performing arts center opens up! A great addition to downtown Nashua! I'll be back!!

Finally got to try Talespinner tonight and wasn't disappointed. This is exactly the kind of place downtown Nashua needs. The main dining floor space is rather spectacular and I thought extremely warm and welcoming. Some reviewers have commented on the food prices being on the higher side but I actually thought it was solid value given the excellent quality and the quite enormous portions. I also really liked the 3oz beer size option, since it allowed me to sample a couple of different brews without exceeding my limit. (And to be honest I rarely feel like downing much of a microbrew so two or three ounces is perfect).I'm a huge Talespinner fan and can't wait to try the open air roof deck with that river view. A very welcome addition to the city!
