Customer service was fabulous! We chose to eat in the bar as we thought it would be fast . I have come here for years and have generally been happy. Recently my experience has gone downhill. My last take out was a mess. Fat and skin left on 1/3 of my sushi. I had to throw out those pieces. The rest was warm and soggy but we were hungry. Not fresh at all. Sides and apps were ok

YouYou Japanese Bistro offers a pleasant dining experience with good food and friendly staff. The menu includes a variety of dishes, such as the shrimp and veggie tempura box, which has been praised as the best tempura in years, and the okonomiyaki shared as an appetizer along with tempura shrimp sushi. Main courses like ok Dol Bi Bim Bab and chicken teriyaki bento box are consistently enjoyed by customers. The restaurant is tucked into an area with easy parking and a cozy, quiet atmosphere, making it a popular choice for those seeking a satisfying meal. The service is friendly and efficient, with staff offering helpful suggestions. While some customers feel the quality and portions have declined over the years, many still appreciate the overall experience. The restaurant’s setting and food continue to attract both returning guests and new visitors looking for a lovely place to dine.
