HENRY'S at Lake Sunapee Country Club

The porch at Henry's is a very relaxing lunch spot. Great views of Kearsarge from the shade of a very large maple tree. The food and service is top notch. My wife and I are local and believe Henry's to be a wonderful little secret.

Overpriced and small portions . Steak tough and 1/3 of it inedible. My plate of cod with sherry cream sauce was presented with no sauce. Had to wait for the sauce to eat my 2” piece of cold fish. Very very disappointing and have no plans to ever go back

Lovely lunch at Henry's at the Sunapee Country Club. Delicious lobster rolls and fries. Attentive service. Very nice server. Beautiful views of the manicured grounds and gardens from the extended dining room. A variety of menu options including vegan. Reasonable prices for an upscale restaurant. Plenty of seating options. Would recommend!

We were at Henry's on a weeknight in July It was moderately full with a very nice (low) noise level. The food was very good, although the menu has become more limited, as have many restaurant menus. If people in your party have strong food preferences, you might want to check the menu in advance. Everyone enjoyed what they had, and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Dinner was fabulous!

The new (2 years?) chef is doing a fantastic job. Everything we ordered was excellent. It's that simple.

Great view and location. Got our drinks order right away. Reservation is at 1pm for Father's Day. Didn't get our food until 30 minutes later. Our fries was cold and seems like the waitresses were more focus their members. You didn't need to be a member with the country club to dine here.

We dine out once or twice a week and, we can be a bit jaded about food. We had not hit Henry's in about a year, and they have acquired a new Chef... “Patrick”. Simply phenomenal, taking friends back Saturday evening! On last visit enjoyed a chilled summer soup, pasta app, cod dishes and a fabulous farrow stuffed pepper entree!

Had Sunday Brunch here yesterday- soft opening so not many diners but what a meal! Highly recommend the French toast! Service was leisurely but staff attentive. Chef came by to ask how we liked the meal. Holiday decorations were very nice as well. Plan to go back - believe brunch will be Sunday only through the winter.

Thanksgiving dinner was disappointing. Buffet style; food barely warm to tepid, selection was poor. No soup, one desert choice, won't rreturn.

Our service was great up until the end when we sat there waiting for about 10 minutes for our check after she dropped off the dessert. We sat there with no drinks and no food waiting for her to notice that we were clearly done. The tip would have been more had she not screwed up at the end. The food was excellent along with everything else. We will go back again. We just hope the service will be better.

The food was absolutely delicious - even better than in the past, when it has been typically pretty good. However, one of the most improved things last night was the service. Poor service has been the primary reason that in years past we gave Henry's a miss. But our experiences in 2025 (3 or 4 times), the service has been pretty good, or better. All in all, a great night/meal.

Food was very well prepared, and the staff is efficient and friendly. The dining area is very comfortable and well decorated, with beautiful views of the golf course and Mt. Kearsarge.

The food was excellent . I had the beet salad & the sirloin. My only complaint was I requested the dining room & they sat us in the bar area.
