Their food is amazing. The wait was worth it. French onion soup was the best I've ever tasted.

Really nice pub food. They have a bar section and a restaurant section. For decades, this has been our go to place in New London. Not fancy, but very comfortable.

Heard from many friends and family that I needed to try this restaurant. With all the hype, it had a lot to live up to. My food ended up being sub par compared to my expectations, and although there are not many options in the area, this is not one of my favorites. Perhaps I will return to give them another shot in the future.

I’m from out of state visiting a friend and the service here was absolutely HORRIBLE. My waitress rung my order in wrong and a whole 25 minutes later still did not bring me my food. There was no apology of any kind. I had a horrible experience here and will never be back.

This is so worth the turn off from 93. From the food to the warm atmosphere. Hope I cross paths with this place again.

On a whim we saw the sign for Peter Christian's Tavern off 89 and decided to try it on our way to Vermont. what a wonderful place. Quaint and cozy. The beef stew is something not to be missed, heavenly flavors. The seafood stew was packed with seafood. The Sheppard pie was tasty and comforting. so worth the stop on every level! Thank you for a delicious meal.

My second visit here. First time I ate at a high table in the bar area, a convivial spot if you enjoy that atmosphere. This time we ate in the dining room where you have a choice of tables or booths. The waitresses are young, probably high school ages, but very friendly and working hard with a smile. My wife had the chowder and found it tasty with few potatoes and lots of seafood. I had the small lasagna plate with a Caesar salad and it was excellent, all I needed for dinner (we had pumpkin pie waiting at home!). Good food, reasonably priced, nice service, what more can you ask in a small town restaurant?Parking: No problem parking here or along the street unless things were really hopping.Kid-friendliness: Kids were welcome with several families dining with us.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem with access from the parking lot.

Rushed to order, waited for drink. Waited for gluten free pizza that was the worst…..over sauced and undercooked. How do you mess up pizza? Server just brought my check - never asked about another beverage, dessert or how I liked my meal. Glad she didn’t ask. I live locally and dine out often. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

This was a really pleasant surprise. The restaurant is comfortable, tables/booth well- spaced, the service was excellent, and the food was ample and delicious. My wife had Mac and Cheese which was exceptionally good and such a good-sized portion I had to help her finish. I had the incredible Seafood Chowder. We liked it so well that we returned for lunch My wife's Reuben was the best she has ever had (she likes Reubens) and my French dip was also great. We highly recommend Peter Christian's!
