“Salt Hill hosted our Jack and Jill party for our wedding and did not disappoint! Nicole was awesome! Attentive, personable, and so helpful! Cooper and Matt were amazing at communicating the whole process and having everything prepared rain or shine! The Shanty has been our go-to for the past four years and never disappoints! Thank you so much for a wonderful day!!”

“We stayed at Hideaway for a quick weekend trip. The house was very clean and cozy! The owners had so many thoughtful amenities such as snacks, coffee bar, firewood for solo stove and games. The location was perfect! We highly recommend staying at Hideawsy By The Bay and will be back!”

“I really enjoyed this lodge! The beer options were pretty good (love the foggy goggles) and LOVED that they had a vegan chili on the menu! It can be tough for vegetarians to eat at ski mountains but this place had delicious food. The servers (Tom I think? Tim?) were friendly and helpful and chatted craft beer with us for a while. Will definitely go back!”

“An all-around wonderful dining experience at The Oak Room NH in New London, NH for my guys Birthday, from the kind greetings from Sam when we arrived to the absolute super attentive service from our waitress Emily, couldn't be any happier. Started with some warm foccacia and a charcuterie board. For the entree, we shared the bone in pork chop with truffle mashed, mushrooms, and caramelized parsnips. Everything was flavored, perfect, and the pork was cooked perfectly. We will absolutely visit again in the future for any of our special occasions.”

“It's great food. But listen...for 3.29 cents per cup of coffee you can probably afford to give people a TO GO cup with some coffee in it when they leave. If someone burns themselves trying to pour their leftover coffee into a TO GO cup that could be a real nightmare. Don't be so cheap.”

“We stumbled onto this place by accident while visiting New Hampshire for a wedding. We had a very large party of people, last minute change of plans sending us searching for a place that could accommodate us for breakfast. Breaking Bread not only accommodated us, they patiently let us hang out and visit while waiting for everyone to arrive. Once we started putting in orders the food was coming out incredibly fast, all cooked by one person and it was absolutely delicious. We left there so full and so at peace. We all agreed that God led us there for an incredible experience. My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to go back and try the smash burger. Most highly recommend.”

“As someone who is gluten sensitive, I’m thrilled with the delicious gluten “light” options. I wouldn’t recommend them for those with Celiac based on a shared kitchen space, but for someone who is sensitive, Blue Loon has delicious options. The staff is very friendly with lots of comfortable size inclusive seating making for a great weekend morning.”

“My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon during the fall color season of New England (2021) and we loved it. Nothing but good things to say about both the property and the owners who went above and beyond. Definitely want to go back there one day.”

“Hello Hungry Guy in a Wheelchair members and today’s review is Flying Goose Brew Pub & Grille on 40 Andover Rd in New London, NH … We drove into the Flying Goose with high hopes — and the handicap parking situation started us off right. Plenty of wide, accessible spot and a smooth path right up to the entrance. Thumbs-up there. Inside, though, we hit a bump. The accessible dining room is there, but their choice of tables makes it a challenge for wheelchair diners. Luckily, our waitress came in, saw the situation for what it was, and got us seated properly. Total save. Once seated, things picked up. Our waitress was warm, apologetic about the mix-up, and stayed attentive throughout the meal — a real bright spot. The vibe inside is homey and packed with quirky antiques and collectibles, which adds charm if you like a little visual adventure with your food. Now, the food… i order the Vegetable and Herb Soup.. you could tell it was Fresh, rustic, and comforting. You could taste the garden in every spoonful — not overly salted, which let the herbs and veggies shine. A nice warm-up for a chilly NH day, as well as New England Quahog which has that classic chowder vibe, thick and briny with big chunks of clam. It was hearty and satisfying, hit the spot just right if you’re craving a taste of the coast. My friend Anna Costa-Turner got the Emalie’s Wrap – A refreshing change-up. Grilled veggies, greens, and cheese wrapped tight and toasted just enough for a little crisp. Light, fresh, and satisfying. Would’ve liked a bit more sauce inside, but it still worked. And finally my mom order the Chicken Pot Pie Empanadas – This was a fun twist on comfort food. Flaky on the outside, creamy and savory inside. Think handheld pot pie with a little crunch. Tasty, though could’ve used a touch more seasoning for a bigger flavor pop. My mom also ordered the Vegetarian Chili – Rich, smoky, and packed with beans and veggies. No meat? No problem. This one held its own. Good spice level — warm, not overwhelming — and perfect for the cooler season. Tempting dessert menu, but we all passed. Maybe next time. Access into the restaurant is solid, but table accessibility needs work. Hosts should be trained to accommodate and listen — especially when a diner knows what works for them. Staff attentiveness helped recover the experience but Worth a stop, especially if you like a funky atmosphere, but go in ready to advocate for your seating needs. Overall, The Flying Goose for me gets a 6.6/10”

“Too expensive for what you get. Didn't get what I ordered and ended up going hungry. Something in the pizza had gone bad, soured, and made me sick to my stomach. I ordered teriyaki wings, got hot wings with no teriyaki sauce on them. Won't be going back!”
