Greeted by the hostess my friend asked for a seat by the window, the hostess looked at her even got a side eye & annoyed (why, we don't know) & said I'll be taking you downstairs. Okay......we followed her down 3-4 stairs & had a room booth to ourselves! So far so good, I asked her how the seafood chowder was seeing as it was freezing out, thought it would be a great choice, she said "it's made with seafood" oooookay, great!! Went for a birthday dinner as a return customer of many happy experiences, hence the 5 star rating. Typically, portions are generous, service is good, and food is good. My wife's fish and chips meal delivered as usual. Here's some free constructive feedback: I ordered the buffalo burger with sautéed mushrooms. My burger was small and I had 5 little slices of mushrooms on it. A disappointing birthday experience. If you need to charge more to give me a full sized burger...read full review
