Easily one of the best restaurants in Newmarket, but also the whole Seacoast. Their crab Rangoons are like none other, and they have the best Pho I’ve ever had. I’ve tried to find similar executions of these dishes in different states but nothing beats the way Basil Leaf does it. Their curries are always delicious, and full of fresh veggies. I make it a point to come here at least once whenever I’m back home. The service is always amazing, the family that runs this restaurant is so kind and happy to have you every time.

Ordered the general thai chicken with sweet sticky rice on the side. It's delicious and the chicken has the perfect crunch! (Just FYI to people buying: it isn't spicy, so don't expect a kick.) Vegetables are also delicious, not overcooked or soggy. And the guy behind the counter is very nice.

I picked up my Pad Thai today — the gentleman who helped me was very kind. However, I’m a long-time vegetarian and was disappointed to find both a piece of steak and some chicken in my food. This was especially frustrating, as a vegetarian meal is a simple accommodation and should not contain meat. I called to let the restaurant know, mainly to encourage more care in the future since this can affect people with allergies, religious dietary restrictions, or personal preferences. However, I would have appreciated an offer for a refund, as that would have gone a long way toward resolving the issue. As a customer, this experience reflected a lack of attention to detail and thrive to fix issues. Overall, the food itself was good, but I will not return as I should not have to pick out multiple pieces of meat from a dish that’s clearly advertised as vegetarian.

Been coming here with my family regularly for some time now. We consider this to be the best restaurant in Newmarket! Excellent food, always fresh and space is clean, owner is super nice! We have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

The chicken Pad Ti here is AMAZING 🤩 . The only problem is the price doesn’t match what they charge it my total ended up being almost double what the online prices reflect . But food and employees were amazing .
Tiny space. The owner is the perfect host- super attentive and kind. The food is prepared fresh to order. The curry puffs are a must! Flaky pastry and bright filling with a dipping sauce to die for. The pad Thai is delicious. Rice dishes are great. Newmarket is lucky to have you. 🙏

Wow. Writing this as I finish my red curry and spring rolls—it’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed a meal out so much I wanted to write a review. Curry was delicious and my husband loved his General Thai Chicken. And the folks that work there are just always so so kind when we come in to pick up our food.
