“What a wonderful new find... there was a sandwich that was a Moutain meaurement... 2369' or something that was awesome! Marbled rye with Pastrami, caramelized onions, cheese and thousand island dressing... really good! and staff are great. Patty was our waitress and very friendly and helpful with local information!
Hey Patty is still there and awesome! Tried the Chowda and grilled ceaser salad. Very good!“

“We enjoyed our dinner. Service was good. Ambiance could be stellar if they got rid of the overhead lights! It is not a romantic or relaxing atmosphere with bright lights. The fireplace, white tablecloths and candles on the table were great.“

“We celebrated our 10 year anniversary st Stonehurst Manor and had a wonderful time! The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our room was lovely: spacious and comfortable. The whirlpool tub and in-room fireplace were the chefs kiss for our relaxing getaway. I can't wait to go back!“

“As a foodie, to wow me with a steak and cheese and a dirty martini does not make sense. But wow. Absolutely killed it. They make their picklin house and that makes a killer dirty. Best in the valley. Keep it up!“

“We have stayed here probably four times. Each time with children, this last time with our dog. We have stayed in air BNB’s, motels, and five star all inclusive resorts. For a classic New England experience, while seeing the sights in New Hampshire, I would 💯 recommend this hotel. The positives: Authentic historic charm, literally jumping out of a Currier and Ives print. As you drive up the hill to the entrance, you literally feel like you are going back in time. There is a large front porch with dramatic views of the mountains, and a well kept golf course. The staff is genuine, friendly, down to earth, and accommodating. The food in the restaurant and the drinks are well made, and delicious— I would categorize the offerings as more “comfort” food: think tender lamb falling into mashed potatoes. The negatives: (Not a negative for some, but maybe for others…..) It’s old, (hence historical designation). If you don’t want to stay in an old hotel, this is not for you. We like old, some people don’t. 🤷‍♂️ (Like - they still use real keys, and the windows have wavy glass….the elevator is a museum piece. It was functional when we were there- definitely neat/out of a movie.) If you want modern/spa chain hotel-this is not for you If you want authentic New England charm, gracious hospitality, in a grand building from a bygone era this is for you.“
