Right across from the beach, the location is idyllic. Grab a super sized ice cream or a lobster roll and sit at their picnic tables or jump across the street to sit on the beach wall. Be warned: if you order cooked food and eat at the beach, the clever and opportunistic sea gull will try to take advantage of you.

This was first time going to Portsmouth location. I personally love the North Hampton location because you can sit on the sea wall and watch the ocean since that one closed for season, I headed to Portsmouth. I believe The Beach Plum is the only place to get a lobster roll, black and white frappe with a side of chips. Yum 😋

Ordered food at 12:30pm on wednesday 9/11/24. There was already a line at 12pm. Short staffed, so expect a long wait. But the chowder and ice cream were amazing. Small ice cream was almost as big as my head, way too much ice cream for me but good for someone who loves ice cream and can eat more than a pint in one sitting. ? i envy you. its right across the street from hampton beach state park. Lots of picnic bench seating with umbrellas. Decent amount of parking. Its a little expensive for food, but the ice cream is 100% delicious and get a huge amount. $5.49 for a small. I dont even want to know what a large size ice cream looks like.
