Just moved to the area and tried out the Northwood Brewery. We sat down and was greeted right away by our waitress Sammy. She was so friendly and helpful with our choice of beer and even brought a couple of different ones to try before we made our choice. We ordered pizza and nachos they were delicious. Perfect match. I was here for ice cream. Ordinary ice cream served in excessive amounts. I hate to throw food away but the smallest size cone was enough for 2 hungry people. If this is the only draw I wouldn't come back.
They have a decent selection of house draft beers. Also take-home retail purchase of cans/4-packs/6-packs. Mostly IPA though. Did not stay inside, availed ourselves of the lovely weather and the outside picnic table seating. The aforementioned mostly IPA notwithstanding, there are a few options of ESB, altbier & dunkel so the more advanced beer aficionado has a few options.
