We were visiting from warm Arizona and went to Mountainview Station. In a word PHENOMINAL!!!! I could not believe how amazing the food was. Being originally from NH and missing great seafood what a treat this place was. First off, the fish chowder. Absolutely the best I've had. So fresh, so flavorful and so damn good. 10 out of 10!!! The whole belly fried clams were perfection, so fresh, perfectly fried and so delicious!!! And the onion rings, home made and perfectly fried. And the home made lemon pie was to die for, made by our terrific server, Kathy, who was also terrific. Damn what a great meal!!!

It was really cute atmosphere the food was good but the service was awful ?Waited 10+minutes for them to come pick up the card if your impatient Maybe don't come here and I felt awkward because everyone new eachother and inappropriate jokes when there's a child?!?? What do they think this is the club?Parking: Not that many spots to park but not badKid-friendliness: It was kid friendly bit they did make inappropriate jokes there

Soon to be one of the Lost mysteries of New Hampshire. The quality of food here surpasses anything I've ever had in New Hampshire including the finest restaurants in Portsmouth. This business is family-owned and it definitely shows. The waitresses are very down-to-earth, and quality of food is spot on. The scallops are especially tastefull, and cooked in a light batter. Our second time there and never been disappointed. It was well worth the trip which was an hour and a half away from where we reside.
What a great lunch! The food and service went hand in hand with excellence. Home cooked perfection in every bite. We got a bacon chicken wrap with fries and the haddock sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both were amazing. Fries were both perfect. Sandwiches were cooked perfectly and freshly made. All the staff were so kind and attentive. They really care and it shows and makes you feel good to support a business like this.For an added bonus, the beer was cold and fresh and the home made apple pie was heavenly. 10 out of 10.Thank you!

Quite a gem! Food was great, and service was excellent. Unassuming on the outside but the decor inside is very charming. Went with our toddlers for an early dinner, which they enjoyed. Community playground right behind the restaurant was a surprise bonus. Perfect spot for a family outing.Kid-friendliness: Picture books at the booth we sat at, great kids menu, and playground right behind the restaurant.

Loved the rustic railroad theme. Such delicious comfort food! We had the jalapeño burger, sub fries for mashed butternut squash, because we also had poutine. I’d def share those dishes among two or three people.
