Interesting selection of mead based drinks. Fun atmosphere. One of the women tried or accidently overcharged the two of us for our "flight" samples as well as our drinks. But was corrected by the other young woman after my friend had pointed out both mistakes.

What a wonderful spot! Excellent mead with nuanced flavors and varying levels of sweetness, which appealed to me as someone who prefers dry wine. Worth getting a few flights and some food for the full experience. Equally important is the very kind and knowledgeable staff. Dog friendly.

We had an amazing tasting with warm and exceptional service! The mead itself was excellent, varied, and creative. We also did a honey tasting which was very interesting and informative. The food was tasty and paired well with the mead. The space itself was lovely and inviting; we felt very comfortable and welcomed. All in all, a truly outstanding experience.

Amazing selection of mead and knowledgeable staff! Delicious flights (we ended up having 3 and doing a couple tastings) and the tacos were a great snack. Shout out to the guy who makes the pickled carrots, my partner loved them so much. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in town.

We were recently on vacation staying in the neighboring town of Freedom, and the house had a brochure for Sap House Meadery. I was intrigued, since I’ve never had mead, and I love most things alcoholic. We signed up for one of the Saturday tours, but unfortunately the person running the tour was unable to make it that day. The host/server/jack of all trades behind the counter was very apologetic and gave us a crash course on mead making, and gave us a few samples. Wow, such unique and interesting flavor combinations! We sat at one of the little tables, and I had two flights while my husband had some local beer. I could have bought one of everything I tried, but I managed to limit it to five bottles ?. We shared the Ploughman’s Lunch and an order of pickled carrots which were really interesting and flavorful. And dessert—a Honeycomb Ice Cream Sundae topped with fresh berries—was unbelievable!Definitely try some of the more funky combinations of mead—I bought the Thai Basil, Lemongrass and Kefir Lime one. Oh, and the Fig, Vanilla and Cardamom (a Swedish spice) was another one I purchased. Sooo delicious! If you’re in the Ossipee area, stop by this little gem. FYI, they’re only open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Their mead is amazing! So many flavors to choose from and each a treasure. The owners were welcoming and very cool. 10 out of 10 -- we'll be back (and ordering online).

Great little spot in the sleepy town of Center Ossipee. Craft mead, beers on tap and a limited food menu but still a great place to spend the afternoon. Sipping mead and playing games in a warm hygge kind of place with pleasant service - what's not to love? Note if you don't like sweet, stick to the beers.

Had to stop by after trying their mead at Hobbs Tavern. One word, Wow! I didn't think I liked mead until I tried theirs. I was amazed by the various flavors and complexities. Staff was very friendly and informative, and probably gave us more time than we deserved (my wife and I asked a lot of questions). After generous samples and a flight, we came home with four bottles and plans to return the next time we're in the area.

Dog friendly outdoor area, they even had a bowl for our pups. Delicious meads along with amazing artisan cheeses and meats.

Mario and Katie were awesome....extremely friendly and knowledgeable. As an amature mead maker, I was blown away by the volume of offerings. We tried all but one and I will say that there is something for everyone. This is great as an aficionado to see them expanding the love to all. They also have food, although we did not try. I am making this a standard stop every time I am in town. I learned so much and the flavors were amazing. Thank you guys for doing the shop and the community right.
