Thai Cafe is a lovely spot in downtown Pboro, offering a serene atmosphere with Taiwanese music and sweet, kind, and patient staff. The food is delicious, with perfect servings and not greasy, making it a healthy and wholesome option. The menu features clearly labeled GF dishes and includes a vegan menu that is very clear on what is plant-based. While the sauces may contain fish sauce, the taste is generally good. Crispy chicken is excellent, and the basil fried rice, although not on the menu, can sometimes be made upon request. Crisp veggies, perfectly fried tofu, and incredible flavors are consistently praised, making it a great spot for vegans and non-vegans alike. The portions are huge, with super crispy chicken that is nice and spicy, adding to the vibrant dining experience. The friendly and funny staff contribute to the overall enjoyment, making it a great option for an area that otherwise doesn’t have much.
