Every time I visit this place, they have mouth watering food and desserts in the display cases. It motivates me to request an unnecessarily complex food order so I can sample most of it. The friendly staff is always happy to oblige. The dining area is very open and welcoming, with lovely views of walkable Peterborough. It's always a pleasure visiting Twelve Pine!

Stopped by for lunch with a friend. Enjoyed the sitting area with a beautiful view of tree branches covered with beautiful colored leaves. Even the quick rain shower was fun to watch and hear it hit the large glass windows and ceiling. However my chicken Cobb salad was not that enjoyable. It was drowning in dressing (suggest ordering dressing on the side) the chicken was bland and tough (would have spit it out if I hadn’t been with someone) and the kale was very tough which I also did not want to chew forever. People around had sandwiches which looked good so maybe I just made a bad choice. The environment was quiet and enjoyable and the service was good and friendly. Also, looked like they had some interesting stuff for sale. Will check it out another time.

The cashier was lovely, but the food is only mediocre at best. Went in when the open sign was out and got in line for a sandwich. The sandwich maker said she'd be with us in a minute. Right before i got to order an older women ran out, turned the lights on the counter off and told Me they were closed. I said i just wanted a turkey sandwich and she did a degrading slow clap saying "they... are... closed" i usually come in when im in town but i won't be any more. This is unacceptable. If you are closed put a closed sign up and serve the rest of the line (which was just me) this was unprofessional

This is a wonderful place to eat, to experience local atmosphere, to sit in the light. The staff are helpful and friendly and at ease. The food is exceptional. We recently had Twelve Pine cater our high school graduate's celebration, and it was extraordinary. Fresh, plated elegantly, and just the right price.We will keep going back.

If you need catering, definitely consider Twelve Pine. They catered our son's graduation party and everything was absolutely delicious. Our guests commented on the quality of everything from sandwiches to salads to cookies. We were super pleased with it all. We've loved Twelve Pine lunches and walk-up orders for years, and now we know our go-to for catering as well!
