I guess this is what you get when you order a pizza 20 minutes before closing. The pizza was overcooked and incredibly oily. We actually had one slice each and threw the rest away very disappointing. The Caesar salad was about a stripped down as a salad could be. A complete waste of $30.

Love love love The Bread Box!!! @Nestportsmouthnh order from them on a near daily basis! The food is always delicious, delivered fast and they are so good to me! They know my order by heart and have been known to surprise with chocolate and surprise coffee! THEY ARE THE BEST NEIGHBORHOOD LUNCH SPOT and we are so lucky to have them in Portsmouth!

After a long, bad Friday, all I wanted was a Spicy Flying Hawaiian pizza (and the kids wanted California Veggie wraps). And as usual, Portsmouth Bread Box did not disappoint. The food was perfect! Thank you to the staff for putting in the effort to prepare and deliver the food perfectly, even on a busy Friday evening.

I ordered a California turkey wrap whichever states it has avacado. I called them to bring it to their attention and was informed they do not have avacado. I suggested they update their menu which their response was it is updated..maybe someone needs to review their online presence.

We order delivery from here and have had good food in the past but not so good the last two times. The pizza is ok. The chicken fingers and sweet potato fries are way too greasy. This last order, they packed the fries on top of the chicken for delivery. The food was so soggy when it arrived that I couldn’t eat it. I won’t order again.

The pizza is ok, but I’ve noticed a recurring issue that needs to be addressed. The delivery drivers, easy to spot in the small red cars—consistently drive through Portsmouth at dangerously high speeds. This isn’t a one-time observation; it’s happened multiple times. It’s concerning, especially in a community with pedestrians, kids, and cyclists. I hope management takes this seriously and reminds their drivers that safety comes before speed. No pizza delivery is worth risking someone’s safety.

Ordered 2 turkey sandwiches for delivery. Delivery was on time but the sandwiches did not have any meat on them which was described on the order. Called them up and they said they would send us new ones and hung up, without any apologies or reassurance. Customer service is very bad for making up for their mistakes. The new delivery was made , checked to see if everything was good, but unfortunately again only one sandwich was made correctly smh and the other was made fine. I don’t recommend anyone to take out from this place, for their customer service and how they don’t own up to there mistakes and not fix them.

Ordered 2 turkey subs and fries, they completely forgot the turkey in both subs (one of the most important things in a turkey sub) and instead of olive oil they put straight up olives in one of them. Now for the 2nd part they re delivered new subs and they got one of them right and the other without cheese like what was supposed to be on it and they put olives again instead of olive oil. We used to like this place but they are falling behind. The quality has been worse lately also. The last time I’ll order from them.

Great local sub place with very friendly staff. The chicken Ranchero su was amazing. The Cajun chick sub my wife got was full of ingredients and was also delicious. Next time we are in portsmouth we'll definitely be back again.
