Cure is always a memorable experience. From the warm greeting, excellent service from an experienced team and, of course, the food. Consistently delicious!! One of our very favorite restaurants!
Cure never disappoints. The food, drinks and service is the best around, can't ask for better. Whenever given the opportunity we keep going back. Thank you @Cure!
Everything was drlicious. Had the duck drumettes, very tender and flavorful. Then we shared the eggplant which was divine, and the braised short ribs, tender and fell off the bone. Great meal.
wonderful meal in a very cozy and pleasant atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A small restaurant with a beautiful interior. Not loud at all as one might think with two tops near each other. A real treat.
Such a great experience! Food was delicious, and they were able to work around my non-dairy preference. The drinks were strong and tasty! Ambience is good, however I would have loved a table cloth on the table to elevate the experience just a bit. We will be back!
Well-crafted meal overall. I had the duck, ordered medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. The mushroom risotto delivered real umami, and the spinach was fresh and well prepared. My guest had the pumpkin ravioli. Saucy, rich, and a generous portion. It paired especially well with the roasted tomato soup, which was the quiet standout of the meal. Bright, fresh, and an excellent match with the ravioli. The French onion soup was classic and properly cheesy. The beef broth was outstanding and well balanced, which is not easy to achieve in a dish where salt can easily overwhelm. I wasn't sure the herb garlic croutons added much, though that may be personal preference. Service was fun and relaxed, with no pressure to turn the table, which is always appreciated. A thoughtful, well-executed dinner with a few dishes that genuinely stood out.
The Statler chicken was delicious! The skin is crisp and tasty and the meat tender and flavorful. Never disappoints!
Cure has become our favorite in Portsmouth. Cozy, attractive setting, lots of great menu selections, well prepared food, friendly and attentive service. Last night even decorated the desert plate with a happy anniversary message.
Lovely small quaint place. Food is exceptional. Were 2 large loud parties near our table of 2. But wasn't the restaurants problem. Just a fact. Just happy to see the place so full.
Server was great and we ordered the house recommendations: onion soup was alright while the beet salad was sad, tasteless and should have been sent back to the kitchen. Short ribs were good but tasted more like yankee pot roast than well executed wine braised short ribs. The polenta served with had the texture and taste of playdoh. The “crispy” potatoes were actually raw (why the double starch too?). The roast duck was tough and overcooked while the skin (best served crispy) was shlabby. An overwhelming amount of garlic rendered the wilted spinach inedible and the black rice risotto wast gummy and just meh. Given it was my birthday celebration, I was extremely disappointed over a meal I was so anticipating. The high ratings and accolades this place gets leaves me completely dismayed. Won't go back and don't recommend.

Outstanding food and service - We had the lamb and chicken and shirt ribs! Our server Seth and all his helpers great ! We will always be back!
Excellent food! Dinner and drinks were outstanding. The cornbread is truly a sleeper appetizer. You will not regret it!
Legitimately impeccable. Couldn't recommend it enough. From food, to service, to the cozy interior.
Wonderful food and exceptional service. We were there for Portsmouth Fall Restaurant Week and could not have been more satisfied. We will return!!!
You cannot go wrong at Cure. It's the restaurant I recommend to friends visiting Portsmouth.
