The best!! Great beer, food, people and atmosphere! Thursday open mic nights are a must!
Perfect place for if you want to pick a hobby up on a whim like I did! They have everything you need for home brewing beer, wine or mead!
As usual, great spot for brews!! They have expanded since I was last here and the quality hasn't suffered from it. Had a couple great brews, had the pretzel and that was really good as well! Still a great, kinda off-the-beaten path kind of place, great and friendly staff, great beers and a good variety of beers (not just IPAs, thankfully)!! Definitely recommend!
There are actually TWO Earth Eagles. The storefront that opens onto the street is a milder, newer incarnation, so if you want the funkier version or the outdoor beer garden, head down the alley. Both spaces offer the same selection of beers, but the funky one was also mixing up pint-sized cocktails. If you're feeling at all peckish, do try a hotdog! Pork, turkey and vegetarian dogs are all the same price; all beef is an upcharge. They have an extensive and imaginative array of toppings; we particularly liked pastrami and sauerkraut and smoked beef with peppers, onions, and melted cheese. Shout out to Glen in the front bar--he's on loan from Portsmouth Brewing while they're closed for repairs, and he's super-knowledgeable about beer and tells some great stories. But all the staff were friendly and fun. Definitely worth the trip!

First visit - fun harbor town location - nice outdoor patio with a covered area - indoor bar seating - low ceiling and dark but nice atmosphere - excellent service
This is a hole in the wall in the nest possible way. The entrance is at the side of the building and we almost missed it as the front of the building it’s part of looked shut. The beer is all from the brewery dvd the ones we tried were really good. The ambiance is fun, sort of hipster/hunter. Recommended.
Nice small place. The bartender put the USA World Cup game on for me. Had a pretzel that was amazing and the beer was awesome.
Great beer! The Puca is really good. The food was great and the staff was friendly. I’m really glad I stumbled on this place.

Great place for a good beer. Nice atmosphere, good friendly service. A comfortable place. Didnt eat, but food looked good.
I keep forgetting about this place when I go to Portsmouth because it's on the outskirts of downtown. I had the Samantha kettle sour with strawberries and the Bessie cheeseburger. Both were great. Discovering that they stream James Brown and other R&B and soul artists (Stevie, Aretha, Sam and Dave) on Sundays will definitely remind me to get over here more often. Nice menu of mostly gourmet burgers and hotdogs, good beer, eclectic atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices (cheaper if you pay cash, as I found out when I got the receipt).
Awesome if you like specialty hamburgers and hotdogs, tucked down a side street I. Historic Portsmouth. Warning…. Cujo (hotdog) is a SPICY challenge that will have your tongue burning for 10 mins after you finish eating!! NE Gangsta’ is an authentic IPA. Good beer, music, interesting food and friendly staff. A nice moderately priced family outing.
Great place off the main street for craft beer, burgers and hot dogs. There are about 10 beers available. We sampled them all, and we were impressed with 8 of the 10. The burger and tge hot dog menus are extensive. Burgers can be beef, turkey or veggie. Hot dogs can be beef, turkey, veggie, or jumbo beef. Go with one of the beef varieties. They are locally sourced and they are outstanding.
Been here a couple times, small venue, might have to wait depending on the time. Beer definitely has some taste, the coconut stout was definitely one to try! Not your average hotdogs/hamburgers either! Just confused in the price as 6 beers were bought and 3 hot dogs and yet our bill came out to $120? Beers must've been at least $10!
