Beer selection was not expansive (read: not variety, especially amongst basics like lagers and kolschs), but also it just cold inside. BRRRRRRR. My husband said it smelled like a horse stable, but I just can’t smell anything.
I do imagine this location is amazing during the summer when you can be outside along the river.
Great Rhythm Brewing Company in Portsmouth, NH for a few pours of three different styles. Far from being my first time here, but the first time I've been here since I started my page. May of 2022 was the last time I was here & everything seemed to be the same as I remember. The beers here have always been great & their IPAs are standouts in the area with SQUEEZE, DOUBLE SQUEEZE & TROPICAL HAZE being a couple beers I've always been a big fan of. This time around I scooped a lager, IPA & stout to cover the gambit. 🍻🍻
I started out with a pint of the NORTH BEACH MEXICAN LAGER which was good & a above average light beer. I then moved onto SOUNDCHECK 5 IPA which was good, but not my favorite of the series I've had over the years. I finished off the trip with a delicious 10% Baltic porter called BLACK VINYL which was my favorite of the three pours I got this trip. 🍻💪🔥
I remember sitting outside my last time here in May of 2022, but this trip in late December it was too brisk to sit out by the water. The taproom inside has tables, hightops & some rail seating as well. It's not a super big place inside but has a good bright aesthetic for being a brewery in a industrial area. Our beertender was cool & chatted with us briefly since we were the only ones in there at the time, I unfortunately forgot to get her name. Overall another good experience here beer & service wise, can't wait to get back here again in the future. 🍻🍻🔥☘☘
BEERGASM RATING - STILL SEXY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS 🍻🍻🍆🍆🍆💦💦💤💤

Really great location right by the water with a nice outdoor patio. The selection of beers were some of the best we tried on our trip through the area. Several IPAs and sours and they were all very good.
Great places to drink a delicious, refreshing, flavored beer. 200% recommended!!!
Need to do a better job of posting your business hours if they change. Both google and Facebook said you were open at 12pm on Mondays. Website lists no hours at all. On a road trip from NJ and went out of our way to stop here to find a paper sign on the door saying closed until Wednesday. Several others showed up thinking you were open too. Took my husband 60 seconds to put in a google recommendation to update the hours for you and now hopefully others won’t waste their time today and tomorrow :)
Can you update social media and your website? According to all, you are open but not so. Closed M & T and not open until 4pm on Wednesday. When did this happen. How many times do I have to visit before you are open according to your website? Sucks…
While on a road trip from Illinois to Maine, chose this brewery as our local stop. Too bad. Because their doors were locked at 2:45 pm. Their "loading dock door" was up, and we could hear music playing, but not a person to be seen.
After reading their reviews, it seems that we aren't the first ones to show up to locked doors, during posted business hours.
Oh well ...
Love coming in for trivia on Monday nights and came for Jace’s last night at Great Rhythm. Unbeknownst to him and us, the brewery was closed! So many people pulled in to come and Jace stood in the parking lot turning everyone away :(. Understand things come up and happen, but not even a Facebook post or letting the trivia guy know? Will remove post knowing he will get compensated fairly for his time. So sad! :/
No WiFi offered even knowing cell coverage sucks. Went to get some stuff done and have a beer. Going elsewhere next time
Great tasting beers on the riverfront. Best one of the ones we visited in the nearest vicinity

The outdoor space was stunning, with beautiful views that perfectly complemented the warm weather. Sipping on a refreshing brew while soaking in the scenery was the highlight of our visit. And the service was so good, our beertender was so nice, and friendly.
Hidden gem: my wife and I visited GRBC on 8/2 and enjoyed an amazing afternoon. Beer selection was very good (something for everyone but not every beer known to mankind) atmosphere was amazing. If you are in Portsmouth, do yourself a favor and find this locale. You won’t regret.
#DogFriendly. ?
Great little spot along the water. Lemonberry Squish was the best of the sours. No wine but they do have sparkling water as an alternative. They don't serve food, but sell bags of fancy pretzels!
Great sours, great space, friendly staff
Good beer, which is obviously the idea, but i cannot get away from the feeling of it being a Starbucks style transaction. you cant talk to someone with the pure love of beer when your making a selection, no server to discuss the product. the operation is quite marvelous to see, obviously setup very well for large distribution, but the seating inside, while bright and sunny, doesn't give you a lot of room to even move about, not relax. very tight quarters.my wife and i went outside to the outside seating, which at night must be gorgeous id imagine! much more relaxed atmosphere outside.they made two incredible sours, and their IPA is great, so for those who aren't an IPA fan, they have an offering for you, but its not a huge variety on tap. They have some of their canned options available, but who goes to a live taproom style breweries for canned flats!?
