I use to go there when the original owners had it and what a difference.I went there yesterday for the second time since the new ownership . I figured I would give it a second try after the first time was a big mistake that was on that was 4/13/24 . The service just like the first time was horrible just like the first time . When we got there the place was empty I placed my order and waited almost 25 min.for two roast beef subs which is ridiculous. There was a couple who came in after me placed an order for burgers and fries . Their burgers and fries cooked and was served before my two roast beef subs we're even made .which anyone knows it's just a matter of slicing the beef putting it on the roll put on the cheese and sauce and done . It takes longer to cook fries and burgers than it does to prepare roast beef sandwiches. From now on I will travel to either massachusetts or Nikos roast beef for real roast sandwiches. You lost another customer haps great job . Keep up the great service for what people pay for roast beef at this day and age your service should be top notch but you are far from it.

The food is fantastic here! It's a nice vibe and location. I'm always greeted with kind and wonderful customer service. The Super Beef on the onion roll is my go to, but I'm a big sucker for the fried oreos too. The owner has done an incredible job transforming this place since they took over!

We don’t have a ton of NSB spots in NH, but Haps is clearly on top of the game here in the area. Their sandwiches are consistently great, regardless of how busy they are. Visited my long time favorite (since 1985) Bratskellar about 3 weeks ago & got a roast beef sub. SUPER disappointed as the tiny amount of roast beef was all fat & stringy...horrible! So I remembered Hap's from years ago. I’ve been eating at Haps off & on since 2004 but not for the past 6 years or so. Haven’t been down this way in the last few years because we moved farther north and just don’t drive down that way much anymore. Got the large roast beef sub w/mayo & pickles. Fantastic!!! Rare beef piled high and the pickles are diced dill...heaven! Haven't been able to find this combo since IGail's Galley in Kingston N H way back around 1970 when I was 16. Glad to see Hap's still makes first class roast beef sandwiches. The absolute BEST I've had in 50 years! Keep it up, I’ll make sure I put an effort in to get over there more often! Five stars plus!!

Great service, generous portions, and fantastic prices on roast beef. The roast beef was perfectly cooked to my taste. My only critique is that the onion roll detracted from the sandwich due to the burnt onions, overpowering the overall flavor with an acrid taste. Once that was set aside, it turned out to be a satisfying sandwich.
