Visited my long time favorite (since 1985) Bratskellar about 3 weeks ago & got a roast beef sub. SUPER disappointed as the tiny amount of roast beef was all fat & stringy...horrible! So I remembered Hap's from years ago. I’ve been eating at Haps off & on since 2004 but not for the past 6 years or so. Haven’t been down this way in the last few years because we moved farther north and just don’t drive down that way much anymore. Got the large roast beef sub w/mayo & pickles....read full review
Great service, generous portions, and fantastic prices on roast beef. The roast beef was perfectly cooked to my taste. My only critique is that the onion roll detracted from the sandwich due to the burnt onions, overpowering the overall flavor with an acrid taste. Once that was set aside, it turned out to be a satisfying sandwich.

We don’t have a ton of NSB spots in NH, but Haps is clearly on top of the game here in the area. Their sandwiches are consistently great, regardless of how busy they are.
