If it is a seated show and you purchase seats behind the sky bar, there’s a large brick wall with windows between the bar and the main area/stage. I didn’t really understand that from the seating chart. You won’t be able to see the band and will be watching it from tv screens. Besides that I think this place is beautiful and the staff is very nice.
I hosted a Welcome Dinner (night before a wedding) for about 100 guests this past Friday evening at The Gallery at Jimmy's Jazz & Blues Club. It was a fabulous evening--the food was delicious and the staff was very professional and courteous! We had a cocktail hour and buffet dinner. The menu accommodated both vegetarians and carnivores. Such a classic reimagined venue, acoustics were good, quintet was excellent. Intimate jazz venue with a variety of seating options. Art gallery on street level had a young jazz trio with casual couch seating, all free post show, what a nice surprise after the concert. We will be back! Dinner also available, but I didn't eat there, so can't comment on that. Great music, cool venue!
