Went for lunch and had the best lunch I’ve had in a long time. I sat at the bar and Joe the bartender was fast and funny. 10 out of 10 experience

I didn't know Legend's offered lunch. Not only do they offer lunch, but it's the best deal in Portsmouth. My fiance and I each got the two for twelve lunch special and dear lord it was special. The smoked meats that they used in our sandwhiches were amazing. And half a smoked Greek salad? Yes please. Homemade chips and our bartender Joe was quick, attentive and had very helpful recommendations. We will be back to eat and see Joe again.

Excellent! Stopped in for a midday lunch and a few games of pool. The food was fantastic, very happy with the draft selection, pool tables were very nice, and service was friendly, quick, and helpful. I wish I could remember the bartenders name, but he provided some of the best service we have gotten.

I had the tri-tip and ribs with cornbread, watermelon, macaroni and cheese and garlic potatoes. The tri-tip is not bad, the rib texture was good, meat came right off the bone but the sauce they used taste like they just smothered it in baked bean sauce. They macaroni and cheese was flavorless and gritty, the mashed potatoes lacked consistency and were also fairly flavorless aside from a hint of garlic. The watermelon Looked decent, had a decent crunch but somehow was also flavorless. The cornbread is probably the most confusing part. It has a cake consistency with a hint of lemon and it doesn’t taste good but the flavor has you so confused that you can’t help but to take another bite to try to figure out what in the world it is about this that takes away from its flavor appeal. Maybe I got a bad batch but I certainly won’t be going back a second time to figure that out.

The food here is absolutely the most underrated in Portsmouth. Jasmine, one of the bartenders recommended the bama ribs and the 3-way sandwich which was unreal. Both bartenders were very attentive and kept the vibe top tier. Kelly was on top of everyone’s order and was very efficient. The manager Kirsten was super friendly and welcoming, and both Martina and Miguel were running around crazy taking care of every single table. Between the service of the bartenders, the great management and the attentiveness of the servers… I’m going 5 stars all around. Would recommend!

The staff of great and tend to your needs with care and are very friendly to talk to highly recommend legends as a must stop for any Portsmouth goer with most any drink you can think of and a wide and always developing menu along with free darts to kill time and 12 different pool tables in mine and most other opinion the best bar/restaurant in all of southern nh!

So let me start by saying that the food was good, just not what I ordered. I saw on the menu they had a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. Love those things and they have a flavor and recipe so distinctive that you know exactly what you are ordering when you do.

Sandwich comes out, take a bite, and that was 100% a Buffalo chicken sandwich. Go back to the menu and it is described in the ingredients as a Nashville hot buffalo sauce. That’s not a thing. That’s like an ordering Buffalo wings, getting teriyaki, and seeing the restaurant description of Buffalo style teriyaki sauce.

What I don’t get is as a Buffalo sandwich it was delicious. Also, Nashville Hot sandwiches are easier to make than Buffalo chicken. It’s literally spices mixed with the oil used to fry it in. So either name it a Buffalo chicken sandwich or make Nashville Hots but what you’re doing is confusing.

This place is underrated. The brisket was perfectly smoked, the ribs were also near perfection. I have not had BBQ this good since my last trip to Dallas. The price was very good for the quality and quantity of food.
The service was solid and the atmosphere good. It is also a billiard and darts venue so there were a lot of people.
The important thing is that I already want to go back one day later.
